One thing is I don't see where the software would be used to program. Do you download off a website?
There is a guy in China i think that sells the latest software for $10 or there are links to older versions on this forum. I use an older free version 1.18

Do a search for RT809F drivers and software, either on here as it's popular with those that program laptops or a wider internet search, there seem to be plenty of links and resources.
1.18 is for the CH341A programmer.

              Re: EEPROM Programmer

Ok I think I have the software installed from link above and drivers and software does see the device so good to go. My first project to try. I ordered a main board for a VIZIO from eBay and it arrived yesterday however it has the audio port torn off and another part missing most likely from being a little rough removing it from the donor TV. I believe the original board has the chip messed up as it's stuck on logo screen. What I would like to do is take the image off the one that came in the mail and see if I can't put it on the original. I do not want to remove the chips and I think the Jtag clip I ordered extra should do it??? could anybody walk me through this? I do not see the correct orientation of how to put the clip on the chip either.

                Re: EEPROM Programmer

Well I'm guessing and think I'm close but I get a read verification error as seen in the pic and happens on both boards so I think I must have something wrong.

Recommended chip programmer for eeprom etc.
                  by Donny2derby
I keep seeing people in the Tv forum asking for eeprom programming and a lot of them seem to use a CH341a.

Is there a reason why this seems to be so popular? Or are there better and preferable alternatives?

Are there ones which a novice would be better off using?

                  Any suggestions welcome.

The right BIOS Programmer - The right software (HP Elitebook 820 G1, 840 G2) no soldering, EC, DMI, ME
                  by STKR123
                  Greetings badcaps community,

I havent done this for a long time and want to start it all again, after some evil and annyoing illness.
So I apologize in advance, if some phrases might sound a bit like gibberish or illogical to you.

Im trying my best to fully describe what I plan to achieve and hope I was choosing the right sub-forum for my new adventure.

                  I have a Elitebook 820 G1 and a Elitebook 840 G2 here.

These ask for a password when entering the BIOS, but boot just fine from the internal SSD.

                  I learned that desoldering...

                  93C46 and 93C56 EEPROM
                  by SidneyCanadas
I tore apart my instrument cluster for my 2008 Toyota Corolla made in 2007 in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and pcb location: IC6=EEPROM is a surface mounted device with part # of 93C46W7, some claim the EEPROM out of a Camry part # 93C56 will allow odometer to roll over 299 999 KM or miles. The data sheet for both is below:

                  https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...c6e42b20d3.pdf 2

Anyone know if the Camry one will work on my Corolla?. And which EEPROM reader/writers do you all recommend I purchase that will allow me to read the old values of the old...

Pioneer DEX-P99rs "No EEProm " diagnostic code.
                  by dmccul2698
Hello, My head unit developed strange behaviors so I ran the built-in diagnostic package which returned "No EEProm". The service manual says there is no EEProm connected. I approached Pioneer and they said to swap out the DSP board. All said and good but the DSP board is $860 USD. I am hoping someone can help me

1). Understand the schematic and check the connections between the EEProm and DSP
2). Check the functionality of the EEProm

I don't know if this is the unit's problem but it's a place to start.

I have little to no electronic experience...
