Are you sure that MOSFET is not also shorted out, or the circuit that drive that MOSFET is not bad?

No I don't. WhenI plugged in and turned on seen the flash abs pop of the resistors so just thought only that bad.

You better check all those parts in that section.

Ok I'll check that out before I order parts. Think these are a better match than the others lifted.

                  Re: Need resistor help

Ok I'm stuck on what way to go need more help. I followed this flow chart and unplugged ss11 and ss33 tv doesn't stay on. So per chart removed sc2 and sc20 and now got 6 blinks. So next is to remove all 4 screws from the su/sd boards plus the three connections. Then jumper sc50 and if tv stays on sc is good and su or sd bad but if still no good and 10 blinks it the sc still correct.

If your tv is model TC-P50S2 then I believe you have to put 16 in front of the numbers on the SC board. R601 becomes R16601, D618 becomes D16618, Q601 becomes Q16601.

If this is correct then R16601 is a 1 ohm 0.33W resistor

I would also check all the above components which may well be damaged.

                        See page 82 of manual

I see the resistor values have already been resolved in an earlier post which I missed.

There's probably more damage to the circuit than just one burnt out resistor. The board number looks like TNPA5335 BG. If you do a search on this site there is tons of information about this board which appears to be a difficult one to repair.
It would suggest you start a new thread with make and model number and pictures of the board and also any blink code.

That resistor shows in the repair manual as:
                                    R16601 D0GF1R0JA047 M 1 OHM,J,1/3W
Your reading shows 20.38Mohms, so it's broken. Mohm stands for Milions of ohms...
I am sure you have more than this simple resistor to fix, there's a reason it blew up like that...
Here's the manual for P55GT30. Maybe it's useful...

Usually the variants ST30, GT30 and VT30 are very similar but not identical.
And yes, dick_barton is right, you want to "read" 16 in the schematics for all parts, ie. resistor marked R601 on your board is named R16601 in the schematics and the tables after that (bill of materials).

Just yesterday I saved my TV (TX-P42VT30E) from 7 blinks of death by replacing those FETs.
Did you get the transistors from a kit? If you did, most likely you got some fakes.
It happened to me too, bought a kit, replaced them, TV worked for about one hour then they blew up.
Then I got them from a local Panasonic authorized service for about the same as the price of the kit, put them in and now my TV is alive

See THIS thread for more info.

Schematic vs. Reality: Where Are the Resistors on My Sharp Clock Radio? Model FY-70CH

                                            Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on a mid-70s Sharp Electronic Digital Clock Radio, Model FY-70CH. I found the service manual online, printed it out, and have been studying it for a while. My main reasons for tackling this are: (1) I want to learn electronics and figured I'd start with something I had on hand, and (2) I want to fix its issues. Right now, the radio sounds awful, has about 5V DC at the speaker terminals, and the alarm time setting doesn't work. But I'm not asking how to fix these problems.

Instead, here's what's been bugging me so far:
                                            The schematic...

What resistor ohm will work better to repair this waterpik?
                                            by artvandalai
The resistor on this waterpik blew. I changed it with the a similar spec 47ohm 2 watt yageo resistor but it still keeps blowing the resistor. Checking with the multimeter the motor, capacitor, diodes, and thermal fuse all checked normal. Will a higher ohm resistor work better? What ohm resistor will work better to repair this waterpik? This video is showing the repair with a 56 ohm resistor https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_J7_rV7ui1Y

Is it okay to replace 1/2 watt resistor with 1 watt resistor in AC/DC adapter?

I have purchased an 100-240v AC/5v 2a DC adaptor from aliexpress, and a month ago It smelled burning when I plugin it powerstrip.
Since then, This AC/DC adaptor have been out of order.
But A few days ago,I replace 0.5 watt resistor with 1 watt resistor(1ohm) in this adapter.
After replacing resistor,It succeed to recharge all of android phone. And When I measure voltage on the two pins of USB port,It shows 5.5v
Is it okay to replace 1/2 watt resistor with 1 watt resistor in AC/DC adapter?
And Is there any possibility that it will suddenly explode as well as to be out...

Hoover FM216LI cordless vacuum refuses to charge
                                            by flat-earther
I have a Hoover FM216LI cordless vacuum which isn't charging its internal battery.

I opened up the unit, and it has 6x Samsung ICR18650-22P cells connected in series.
5 cells were at about 3.3-3.1V. one was at 2.4V, so I assumed this cell was bad that's why the vacuum wasn't charging so I replaced it with another 18650, but after that the problem still persists, the vacuum turns on a bit and then cuts out since the batteries are empty.

So I think the over discharged battery wasn't the culprit, it was a symptom of the unit not being able to charge its batteries....

                                            Xiaomi mi 9T missing resistor

Hi, while trying to replace a broken screen connector on the motherboard, I knocked off a resistor next to the connector, and the resistor vanished. I have tried to find out the value of the resistor by looking at the schematics, but I cannot find the value. The ID of the resistor, or what you should call it, is R6400.

I don't know if the resistor is necessary for the phone to function, and the connector is still not soldered on to motherboard. I have contacted Xiaomi and asked them if they know the value, but they want a proof of purchase, which I don't have.

                                            Is...
