    Samsung UN60J6200AF backlight flashing

    Hi guys
This TV backlight flashes constantly from the time it is plugged in. Unplugging the Mother board causes no change. I thought it was bad leds so I opened the panel and attached an LED tester and all the leds lit up which led me to conclude it was a bad power supply. I replaced it but the problem still remains. What I have noticed is the standby and the voltage across the mains filter caps are fluctuating and very low, eg standby 4 - 6 V and mains 150 - 160V . With the back light disconnected standby is 13V on and mains 390V. What am I missing here? I did a video when I was testing the backlight. I would have to post a link .

We need good clear pictures of the whole backside of the TV showing how all the boards are connected together, then the pictures of the whole top and bottom side of the power supply board.

          Hello Community!

          CASE DETAILS

Promblem Signs: Backlight on 1 sec off 7sec > repeat && Red standby light: 1blink, off 3 sec, 2 blinks, off 5 secs, 2 blinks, off 3 sec, restart cycle

13V present on powerboard output. Backlight continues flashing after removing cables to pannel one at a time and even with both disconnected. NOTE: backlight STOPs flashing and remains on when connector between powerboard and mainboard (note Tcon built in) is disconnected.

Tried inserting firmware on USB and left it in for a few hours, but no change

          Samsung QE82Q70RAT no backlight
          by sansanpartida
          Hi everyone!

Hope you're all having a great day, and thank you very much for stopping by and taking the time to read this post to help me with my parents' Samsung TV.

          My issue: No backlight.

          Model: QE82Q70RAT
          Type No: QE82Q70RAT

The TV was already serviced by Samsung once under warranty for the exact same issue, but six months after the fix, the backlight went out again. Now, Samsung is asking for nearly the same price as a brand new TV to fix this with the same 6-month guarantee.

So hopefully, I can fix this cheaper.

Samsung QLED QN70Q6DTAF Dead 2 blinks Flashing Backlight
          by cheebster
Hello, got a nice 70'' Samsung here that has this symptom, it's (it was) dead with flashing red light, backlight going on and off, looping trying to start up.

So i digged here and youtube, and found the tape method. Got the tv to fire up, however i'm trying to understand what's wrong with it.

At the bottom of the tv, on the panel's PCB there are 3 sections, each of them has 4 connecting tabs to the panel.

So with convering a few pins the tv works, and i messed the flex cable doing so, waiting for a new one to come in to continue troubleshooting. ...
