Replaced leds now see all of them

I have an lg 55 inch I replaced 19 out of 55 leds put the set back together and now I see all the leds when the picture has a low light level, what could I have done wrong? Keeper all the screens in order I thought. Please I'm at a list now

Do they change when you change backlight level? Confused about description of problem.

Re: Replaced leds now see all of them

Since you say you see all the leds and not just the ones you replaced then the filters must be put back in the wrong order. I'm sure we've all done it at some time.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

Changing backlight level is the same, have tried changing all the lens around also, I'm pretty sure I keep them in order when I put the set back together

Re: Replaced leds now see all of them

i have had the same problem, on a O LED LG, i now get an halo around the ones i changed, so tried moving the lens as the LEDs i used where a smaller size to the original and did'nt fit dead center of the lens,
i did manage to get a few sorted, but it took bloody hours, and i have given up for the time being,
it a long process move a bit, drop the screen, test, move a bit more, and so on.

I'll try moving the lens, but I see the ones that were not changed

R u shure you used the same leds ? They may be burning hotter than the originals.

Re: Replaced leds now see all of them

sounds like the old and new leds simply had different output beams.

leds are sold with an output beam that is rated in degree's.
too little and you get dark spaces between them, too much and the beams overlap.

You see all the leds evenly or just the ones you replaced or other ?

I replace lens on leds while they are lit. Looking straight down you don't want any bright spots

Panasonic LED TV TC-40A420U - Replaced Backlight LEDs but now no image/display or garbled

I have a Panasonic LED TV TC-40A420U. The TV was given to me as an attempt to fix or throw out. I replaced the Backlight LEDs and now the screen lights up, but there is no image/display. If I play with the up/down buttons I can get the display to change from black to garbled. I can't get sound from HDMI but not sure of what input is selected. I have no remote control. When I connect a laptop to the HDMI ports it recognizes a Panasonic TV for display and sound output but I can't see or hear anything through the TV. This makes me think the mainboard is OK, but not sure if mainboard can...

                          Hi there !

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...

Issues with new Surface Pro 5 screens
                          by diamon
I have three Microsoft Surface Pro 5 model 1796, with all cracked screens.
Have bought from Aliexpress three new screens, the part numbers from my and the seller are the same:

Bad working China screen part number:

Good working own screen part number

Error I get with the bad working China screen:

No error with the good working own screen:

All the three China screens (all the same exact part numbers) produce the same error in Device manager. Have also performed a clean installation...

RCA RLDED 4331B: 43 inch LED TV: Backlight issue
                          by lmcancu
Hi I am having an issue with the LED backlight of this TV. I can see the picture with a flash light, so I determined it was a backlight issue.

Initially, after opening it I found 2 shorted and 1 open LED on 2 strips (total of 4). I removed the LEDs and shorted the pads together to verify if the backlight would work.

Testing it, I found the backlight turned on and I measured 54V when TV was in standby (off), and 100v when TV was turned on. The 4 strips each contain 9 LEDs, so 36 in all minus 3.

Instead of putting it back together I decided to replace...

                          TCL 55RP620K power board issue
                          by notallbad
Originally the tv arrived with dimmed backlights (not failed leds) but everything else worked ok. Adjusting backlight in menu did nothing but voltage changed on dimming control pins,
                          0% p_dim at 1.65v and a_dim at 1v
                          50% p_dim at 3.3v and a_dim at 1.65v
                          100% p_dim at 3.3v and a_dim at 2.88v

Changed backlight leds anyway as always like to have complete peace of mind they wont fail shortly after selling the tv. No change as expected!

Leds are 2 rows of 15 6v leds.

On inspection of the power board found diode MBR3200 shorted so replaced with...
