Hey guys i need a little help here. I purchased this 65" tv for super cheap but its not working. Im trying to find info on it and i cant find anything about it. The tv has a 6 blink error code on it. Now i tried finding 6 blink error code on this model and the only thing i find is about plasma tvs. This is a LED tv. Any advice? Here are some picture of the back.

Re: Panasonic TC-65ax800U
So i did a hard reset and he tv kicks on. You see panasonic pop up on the screen then the tv shuts down and goes back to 6 blink error code.Comment

Re: Panasonic TC-65ax800U
if you put the screws back in the board without the cover.
then test each vled- vled+ test point on the exposed test point as the backlights come on and then what they settle down to, then we can pin point your issue.

Re: Panasonic TC-65ax800U
So i tested on the LED driver board the VBL test points. These plugs go from power supply to led deiver. The voltage was 24V when tv powered on and dropped slowly to 0. Then tested the VLED points that you requested and all the Negitive and positive points were 9V when tv powered on. Then when the tv shut down the voltage spiked to 11.5V and dropped to 0 really slow.Comment

Re: Panasonic TC-65ax800U
i hope that you put the screws back in to ground the board.
i think that you need to retest both vled+ and vled- as 9v on all pins is not right.
it may be that your meter isn't quick enough to catch it, but confirmation would be good.
still looking at led failure to me.WHY CAN'T PHILIPS USE PHILLIPS HEAD SCREWS?Comment

Re: Panasonic TC-65ax800U
Actually i found the service manual for that specific tv and the 6 blink error code is the A board (Main Board). Plus i tried pitting the screws on and the screws go right through the board. Screws are way to small. Thanks for your help.Comment

by clooI recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.
So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...01-06-2025, 06:02 AM -
by VebririonHi everyone,
I'm new here and trying to repair my Panasonic TX-P50V10E plasma TV, which is currently showing the 6 red blink error code.
Just for context: I'm used to building PCs and installing modchips in old consoles, but this is my first time trying to fix a TV. I'm French, and while my English is okay, I'm using ChatGPT to help translate and clarify my messages as much as possible — so please forgive any odd phrasing.

by sam_sam_samThis happened last Saturday and today I finally had time this morning before I went to work to replace two non brand capacitors
I will let you be the judge weather or not these are bad or not according to the blue ESR meter that I am using
I am comparing them to a brand new one that I installed
The display came back on and the programming was not lost which I was surprised by I would have thought that when the display went blank that so did the memory as well
I going to let it run for several days before I remount back on the wall next to the... -
by nervxYears ago my tv gave a 7 blink code which turned into 8 during diagnosis. I had ordered a replacement ss board but somehow the tv started working again and i never used the board. Now a week ago my tv flickered and shut off at random and gave the 8 blink error code. The same issue it had all those years ago. The only difference this time is that over the last few months there has been some purple and green tinge that comes and goes in more solid colors such as white.
Anyway i checked all the screws and replaced the ss board with a known good one and still got 8 blinks. I saw a... -
