Toshiba 46g300u3 screen turns off after about 2.5 hours. The power light stays on and the chrome cast I have remains powered. Sound does not continue also the backlight is off. The TV will turn back on immediately and stay on for another 2.5 hours. When it goes out the screen turns off followed by the sound 3 seconds later.

Re: Toshiba 46g300u3 screen turns off after hours
Sounds like something is overheating. When it turns off take the rear panel off and direct cool air on the boards to try and identify what may be overheating.Willing to help but I'm no expert. -
Re: Toshiba 46g300u3 screen turns off after hours
My thought was if it was over heating it wouldn't come back until cool. It comes right back on no issuesComment

It's not automatically turning off. That setting is off. I'm not at home I'll get voltages then.Comment

by smic717394Hi,
I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on... -
by frannyjunkSo I have this Hisense tv where the backlight does not come on. But when it is turned on, when I shine a flashlight on the screen, I can clearly see the splash screen then it turns off. I looked at the mainboard and was expecting to see bulged capacitors, but they all look fine. I unplugged the backlight from the mainboard, and get the same symptoms (i.e. no backlight, dark splash screen then just a black screen). Is this just a backlight issues? Do Hisense tvs turn off by itself if the backlights are unplugged or are bad? Or is this a mainboard issue?
TIA. -

by Rav_tangleHi all , thanks for having me & I think this has been asked before but my case seems a bit odd.
I have a MacBook Pro , board 820-2915a and it turns on , chimes etc etc , keyboard lights up, fans spins , can turn caps lock on/off but screen is dead.
Iv tried the resets , shine torch through back logo , nothing , it seems the screen has no power. If I plug charger , it charges but if I disconnect battery it displays green light but won't turn on. Iv tried screen on with another board & it works & seems I'm not getting any voltage at pin 2 , next to ground pin .

by sigmeyerI got this 50 inch tv the screen starts off with almost nothing visible but the top part of it , and it would slowly kick in and the picture would be visible , but then over time it would go greyish with the top of it mostly intact. I did have instance where the screen would be fucked like that and i would touch the cpu and memory to see if it would react and a couple times it would screech on the speakers and restart. After that it would show a better picture somewhat but afterwards i touch the cpu and not much is achieved. Im wondering is this a screen fault or should i pursue this with a donor...
