    Sandstorm s40ldib10

    Strange one this is.
i got hold of this LED tv, as a non working, was told it would not switch on,
gets it home and discovered that the on/off switch on the bottom was off.
turned it on, pluged it in, and standby light is on, i then powered the tv on, and to my surprise it all lite up and seems to be working fine, put my PS4 on it though HDMI and used it for gaming for a few weeks with no problem,
well i decided to put it up for sale, so thought i would tune the freeview channels in, and this is where it fails, it will only find 5 DTV channels instead of the normal 140, done factory reset and still the same, its got to be a main board issue, but is it a simple fix, any ideas,
will post pics as soon as its in bits,

Is it worth your while doing a full reset and trying to tune it again?
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

I would think the factory reset would do the job.

          Edit
I see you have already done that. Sorry

no probs m8, looks like another main board is needed, and yet again like gold dust.

              Altec PC410 Auto PID Tune
              by VaNDAL_UK
              Hi,

Anyone know how to get the Altech PC410 to initiate a P.I.D Tune?

I can see the option, turn it on and it just flashed "tune" but nothing happens. Even tried running a profile after selecting tune.

I remember doing it years ago on another machine but for the life of me I can't work it out this time.

              TIA.

Harmon Kardon AVR340 no sound on 4 channels
              by r2digital
Hello, i had this amp sitting in the closet knowing that none of the channels were working. After taking it all apart i found 4 bulging main filter caps so i went ahead and replaced those with low ESR kmet caps. However after doing this it only restored sound to Surround L, Surround R, and Center channel. The main speaker fuse on the transformer F905/F906 keeps blowing so i decided to remove all of the transistor's on those 4 channels and measure them. All transistors appear to be in good working order(turned receiver on with none of them installed and fuse still blows). Checked dual emitter resistors...

Cannot tune channels on LG 42LN540V
              by spleenharvester
              Hi all,

After a house move, our 42LN540V cannot autotune antenna channels. 0 programmes are found.

The control board had very visible damage to the antenna port, so I swapped it out with a new (used) board. Unfortunately, the issue persists. I've checked the cables with a multimeter and they seem to be OK with no shorts present.

I've tried two different antenna sockets in the new place and neither work. Short of the roof antenna being knackered, I'm not sure what to do here - is there any way to check the antenna socket with a multimeter?

              Hitachi V19B01922 Channel Tune problem
              by dicky96
              Hi Guys
I have a customer who has two Hitachi TVs in his bar, one is the model in the thread title and the other is a larger screen but has the same setup menu

He also has an LG TV, so three screens in the bar

              I installed three Satlink ST-6503 DVB-T Modulators
              This model https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32916553905.html

These connect to three satellite receivers via HDMI cables and then connect to a 4 way RF Amp that connects to the TVs on aerial cable. There is no incoming terrestrial antenna. I set the channel ID on the modulators to...

Advice needed-Technika 32-207 works but sticks on channel, won’t change channels ok
              by rustinjust
My tv will work for a while and change channels with the remote as it should but then it will stick on one channel only and work ok but it won't change channels. I have tried unplugging it for hours and whilst unplugged pressing the power button on the tv to reset it.

The volume button on the remote still works but it just won't change channels once it decides to stick on one channel

It has built in basic freeview tv here in the uk, I've tried doing an automatic search to reset the tv but nothing works.

I have to turn the tv off and then on again with...
