Hi Guys
I have a customer who has two Hitachi TVs in his bar, one is the model in the thread title and the other is a larger screen but has the same setup menu
He also has an LG TV, so three screens in the bar
I installed three Satlink ST-6503 DVB-T Modulators
This model https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32916553905.html
These connect to three satellite receivers via HDMI cables and then connect to a 4 way RF Amp that connects to the TVs on aerial cable. There is no incoming terrestrial antenna. I set the channel ID on the modulators to different names for each channel, and of course on different frequencies.
When I select a digital auto-scan on the LG, it finds all three channels and they work very well.
When I select an digital auto-scan on the Hitachi, they also both find three channels with the correct channel ID but then you only get one channel in the channels list (channel 800) from the first modulator that if found, the lowest frequency one, and there are no other channels 801, 802 etc so you can't change to the other channels.
If I do a manual digital scan, whichever UHF channel I select scans in OK and I get that one channel - so all the signals are OK
The same thing happens on both Hitachi, slightly different models/screen size
I must be doing something wrong because both TVs can't have the same fault, surely. When I do an auto-scan I select the option to clear the existing channels list so it can't be some old channels data messing it up, or so I would think
Any suggestions?
Rich
