There are a few manuals for this set im not sure if this is the correct one?

a common issue with these psu seems too be ZD 503 going short circuit maybe worth checking on your psu

            Hi,

I am not sure if in the mean time you solved the issue? Anyway I am facing the same and trying to debug my PSU during spare time. My board is the same as yours but I could only find the schematic of a similar product. It should be very similar. I haven't check yet the zener that was indicated. If you search the document by ZD503 you will find it. I hope this help. If have any new findings please post.

Can I see good clear straight shot pictures of the whole top and bottom side of the board? Pictures must be clear enough for me to see the traces on the bottom side of the board.

Hi and thanks for your reply. I have uploaded the pictures.

In the mean time I have checked the voltage output from the connector to the main PCB and all looks to be OK so I suspect the problem might not lie on the power unit...

When powered on the TV started flashing with a red light. The screen went ON for a few seconds and then OFF with a flashing red power inidicator.

Yesterday while I was measuring some voltage on the main unit I noticed that the back lights were ON "permanently" again. The TV was back to life!

To be honest I do not know what happened, I removed both PCBs and put them back. Basically that's all I did.

The issue seems to be solved by now but I will continue to monitor and in case come back to you guys.

Thank you very much for your time!
