    Lg 55lv5500-ua led tv problem

I have an LG 55LV5500-UA 55" LED tv that stopped working. I took it to the TV repair shop and I was told a bad circuit control (not sure what that is). Would cost $255. to fix. The TV is 5 years old. So I decided to bring it home and try and fix it myself with a little help from my friends.

The TV power button lights up white as normal. Hear a clicking sound when it turns on as normal. The screen does not come on and I do not hear any sound.

    Any suggestions??

    Thanks,
    Dan

Copy and paste, sort of get tired and more pissed off having to retype threads when the search feature can simply be used, plus this guy hasn't even added what we need to even start help him diagnosing the set. Hopefully he will though then we can help.

              LCD TV Green/Pink screen problem
              by jimjoe123
I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.

Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.

              Then each time...

iMac PowerPC G4 very low sound • Sunflower Model
              by nickgronk
Just picked up an iMac powerpc for $1 at auction. changed pram. This is working. Problem, barely any sound. I have everything cranked up in software, reset nvram/pram - nada. I do get sound ONLY if I plug in a powered speakers in headphone port. I do not get the startup bong.
I get almost no sound with normal headphones. I mean, you can barely hear it. Took the board out and by eye found these 2 inductors broken. Not sure if they are for sound. Speaker is also plugged in and I tried a normal pc speaker in its place - still zilch. Are these inductors the culprit?
              I cannot find any schematics...

              Hi,
Have a Macbook A2179 with liquid damage. Customer showed it some shop which has done an ultrasonic cleaning of the board.
The board pulls 0V but doesnt turn on. No Fan SPIN. NOT IN DFU.

I checked the Power Sequences below and found this -

Once a valid external power source (Charger or battery) is connected, the following rails will come online.
PPBUS_G3H: Normal voltage is ~12.6v on the charger with the battery disconnected. Produced from the ISL9240 (U7000, which uses PPDCIN_G3H as its VIN.
PP3v3_G3H_RTC: Normal voltage is ~3.3v. Produced...
