Sony Bravia KDL-40EX403

Ok guys, got this tv in with stand by light flashing 7 times and then repeating, done a bit of reading and found out that main board was faulty,
replaced the board with another and now get solid stand by, but when i turn it on, the green and amber lights flash together non stop,
i did read somewhere on here about the problem and it was 2 mosfets and a fuse-able resistor that was replaced and solved the problem, so i checked this out and mine are fine.
im also getting 24v at the inverter as well, but back light are not turning on,
i need some help on where to go now, as power board volts all seem ok ?
ill get some pics up ASAP.

quick update, rechecked volts and jumped the standby and power on, now got back lights,
it would seem that i have been sold another faulty main board,
or have i ?, i have no volts for the T=CON on, from power supply

We need the voltages with the corresponding pin outs. Maybe one with everything attached to the PSU, the other only the PSU by itself forced on. There is a Tcon on pin and a TCon power. So in order to get Tcon power, you have to turn it on, like PSon and BLon.

May also be worth checking those orange looking resistors which I believe are fuses.

hope you can understand these,
pic 1 is in stand by., pic 2 is turned on with flashing green and amber lights,,
pic 3 is power supply jumped on, pic 4 is pic 1 and 2 together.

as you can see, im already getting the power on signal from the main board while in stand by.

The main boards on these Sony set are awash with SMD fuses on the front and rear , I would carefully check these first,and use a marker to mark the ones as you go

And they are VERY SMALL and hard to see.

UPDATE,
got a full refund on the main board i got from EBAY, have'nt even got to send it back, RESULT, and have ordered another one, just have to wait and see,

Why don't you try to repair the original one in the meantime? Wich research have you got on it? Only manuals&internet searches?

when it comes to main boards, i lose interest and give up, so trying to repair is not for me.

Mainboard isn't sending BLon.
