Recommended replacement led for backlight--No Good!

Who was it on here recommended these!--

    http://www.aliexpress.com/item/SAMSU...08.0.65.majZnl

Just to say a Warning to you all, They join the other three hundred Ive bought that were Also Utter Crap!

Firstly, The Cathode/Anode is reversed on the package. If you fit them (in reverse to the original) so they light--They Last exactly 2 minutes!
(Long enough for a quick test of function and after reassembly of panel, doesnt even give you time to tune in Digital before they black out.)

They fade slowly then go S/C. They arrived--fairly quickly, this morning, so I fitted some to a Samsung panel in a Vestel Toshiba 40". I tried Three Times--To be certain.

Ended stripping the panel for a second time to do the usual piggy-back with Genuine LED's from other sets, now working just fine...

I think this is THE last time I fork out over a tenner--for bloody LED's that last in minutes!

Agreed,I only use led's harvested from brand name sets. Doesn't take long to accumulate a nice stash of them.

Re: Recommended replacement led for backlight--No Good!

Someone outside the badcaps site recommended them to me, so I bought them and recommended them on badcaps.

I guess they are crap too, so back to the drawing board lol. Sorry it didn't work out for you bud. The LG ones DO work as the tv I repaired and sold is still working.
Its strange that they have very good feedback from buyers yet they don't work for you.
Does anyone know where we can get genuine Samsung LEDs?

Having to rip the set apart again would suck. Hope your day gets better.

I use those SAMSUNG (Large pad (substrate for heat transfer to the strip) for Cathode, the LG that I also order for LG repair has Large pad for Anode), installed about 60 of them on SAMSUNG three 32", on 39", one 40".
So far so good, no call back yet, I am using one every day right now in my bed room to verify it will last.

the soldering way played big issue on the LED life time and the V out of its forward diode.. many read this and they thing its just bad quality and the zener diode built in are like they used to know.. but its not. how much high temperature or time of soldering will effected this value. smd led are designed to robot with infrarot heat.

Stacking is great, but if you don't have any LED strips then replacing the LED itself is another option.

I got some LG Innotek 7030 LEDs from AliExpress and had a few fail as soon as i powered up the TV, try and power the set up without assembling and let it run for half hour.

I figured, because I haven't read anything that any of these you had replaced failed. So I guess it is a hit or miss with those LED's at aliexpress.

                                  Right--Maybe just eating humble-pie...

Today, I had a 32 samsung LED that had three dead LED's. For a larf--and because it was dead quiet today I tried again.

I soldered the LED's in, but this time did that slightly differently. After removing the dead ones, I trimmed the gap between the conductors on the board slightly widening it and exposed a little more copper either side of the LED pads. I tinned up this fresh area and carefully soldered new LED's on. The new exposed areas making soldering Much quicker as the solder could easily creep under the new LED's so no excess heat was used, but also the extra solder either side adding to the heatsink effect for the new LED

I didnt bother fitting the lenses or panel back as was convinced I would be changing 'em again....

Bloody thing ran fine all afternoon.....

So--Maybe they Are OK after all, and I'm just a plumb!

                                    I ordered these:
MXA7-PW65-H001 Lumilite from Digikey. The color was more yellow than the rest of the LEDs, noticeable on the reassembled TV.

                                      Hello guys,

I would like a quite old but still good 800 W ATX PSU to be repaired. The problem was an extremely heavy coil whine coming from the small secondary transfomer on the PCB.

I desoldered it hoping the references on the upper side would allow me to find a adequate replacement part. Sadly the written references drove me nowhere but to the manufacturer (I-MAG). I sent them a message like a bottle in the see asking them to send me a datasheet of the transformer. And... They responded ! I received a kind of datasheet (see attachment) but my competencies do not allow...

Panasonic SA-XR25,Looking for a good replacement cap
                                      by Jagster
I have a Panasonic SA-XR25 surround receiver that is not working and I believe it may have a faulty capacitor. This large capacitor near the mains power input has a plastic top that is bulged out. Anyhow, I'm trying to find a like replacement but Panasonic doesn't seem to make this capacitor any longer and I want to find a suitable replacement. It has an "AUDIO" designation written which I presume means something important in relation to the capacitors design characteristics. Can someone advise on what would be a good replacement? Image attached.

                                      Recommended replacement cap & voltage
                                      by aurgathor
I have an older SFF Dell (GX620) that I want to turn into a router, but it has a few *really bad* looking electrolytic caps (4x 2200uF 6.3V & 1x 1800uF 6.3V) that need to be replaced first.

                                      Questions:
                                      1. What are some the recommended caps for these values? (I will probably order from digikey)
                                      2. Looks to me there is enough space for slightly bigger caps -- would I gain anything with respect to longevity by using 10V caps instead of 6.3V caps? (I guess I probably need to look at the current voltage with a scope since I do not know the nominal voltage of that r...

                                      Samsung un65h6203af led replacement question

This tv is with sound but no picture. When light shines on the screen, we can see the image. This is a typical backlight problem. I opened it and found quite a lot of the leds are damaged. But the damaged ones are all shorted. No one is open. Is there a special reason? (From my past experience, both can be happened)

When I supply 3V to each of the good leds, the currents range from 105mA to 154mA. From these figures, I think the leds are 3V and about 0.5W. I plan to replace all the damaged leds only (because the price of the led strips is very expensive), but I could not find 3V 0.5W...

Corsair K70 LUX RGB dying LEDs

                                      Hi there !

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...
