I have the same model and have tried 3 different tcons with it and ready to throw it out.

    Panel is CY-DF600CGSV2H

Original tcon is BN96-28943A. Shopjimmy shows a lot of cross-references that say have been modified to work as substitutes.

Original problem is no video, backlight comes on and get a chime. One side at a time still shows no video.

Got a BN95-00944B from an Aliexpress vendor. When installed red light flashes but TV doesn't turn on and no backlight. They sent a second one and it was the same behaviour.

Sent the original board in for repair with an ebay seller and they returned it saying they didn't repair that part number.

Ordered a BN95-00628C board from another Ali seller and it has same symptoms as the 944B.

Thinking bad panel at this point.

I have one of these too. Same behavior with the 'compatible' BN95-00944C board. Original was BN95-00628C. I cannot find any info on what the modification is that needs to be done to the board to make it work. If anyone has any further info, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I was finally able to find a BN96-28943A board at a decent price. Installed it an now have video. Unfortunately TV has dark spots from bad backlights as well that need to be replaced.

I had this TV a few years ago. TV would turn on with backlights, but no video. Wiggling cables, or detaching and reattaching cables didn't cause any flicker of screen (which I was expecting if there is at least some functionality of TCONN).

Replacing the TCONN with an exact same version for my TV solved my problem, but I wanted to know what the issue with my original TCONN was.

My research led me to a bad IC7100 that may be a common problem on these 60" TCONNs. I think it was ISL98602. requires advanced soldering.

NORCAL15 has a good video detailing the repair:

I had sent my original board for repair but that part number likely didn't have that IC.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
              by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Samsung un82ru88000f - Boot loop sort of but can correct with taping of LVDS ribbon
              by NolesFan
Hello all... TV started boot looping. Opened the back panel and tried to isolate the problem. Just PSB no boot loop. PSB and MB no boot loop. Plug in the LVDS from panel to MB and boot looping starts up. It doesnt matter of order that I plug the LVDS ribbons back in, only 1 and no boot loop but as soon as 2nd one plugs in boot looping. I then noticed a flicker on the screen when I was closing the clip on the harness to the LVDS. Shut the lights off so I can see better, and I noticed as i slowly close it, I will get a picture, but as soon as it clips in, I lose picture and booting happens. So I...

[Macbook pro A1708] [Boot loop] [Trackpad ?]
              by No Lan
              Hey everyone,

Usually, I'm not the type to ask for help, but this time, I'm calling on your wisdom and expertise I've seen what this community can do, so I'm pretty sure you guys can help me out.

Here's the deal: I noticed my MacBook got stuck in a boot loop. After opening it up and doing some initial troubleshooting, I found that the boot loop stops only when the trackpad is unplugged.

Now, just so you know, the trackpad actually works — I tested it with another motherboard and it's all good. Same for the cable, no issues there. The problem is only...

Lenovo Legion 5 (15ITH6H) kind of boot loop but not sure
              by Stefano Crivellari
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me fix my Lenovo Legion 5 (15ITH6H) laptop. Basically, after a windows update the computer would not boot anymore. When powering on the laptop the screen has no backlight and nothing would show up, using an external monitor did not help. However, the laptop would still spin up the fans and turn on the keyboard backlight. The keyboard backlight intensity function key would work and the power button led and the charging led are also working. I've tried every possible combination of key press and power button hold down time but did not change anything. At this point...
