Samsung un82ru88000f - Boot loop sort of but can correct with taping of LVDS ribbon

Hello all... TV started boot looping. Opened the back panel and tried to isolate the problem. Just PSB no boot loop. PSB and MB no boot loop. Plug in the LVDS from panel to MB and boot looping starts up. It doesnt matter of order that I plug the LVDS ribbons back in, only 1 and no boot loop but as soon as 2nd one plugs in boot looping. I then noticed a flicker on the screen when I was closing the clip on the harness to the LVDS. Shut the lights off so I can see better, and I noticed as i slowly close it, I will get a picture, but as soon as it clips in, I lose picture and booting happens. So I took a piece of tape and lightly applied pressure the last LVDS harness till I saw picture and now its working, watching TNF Question is, do you know why its doing this? What can be the issue that I can look to fix? I can totally live with it as it is, but its a big tv that get hung on wall, I wouldnt want to close it up and hang it and then the tape gives way 4 months from now and I have to do it all over again. Can I use a silicone to keep it held in place, and if it was needed to service, I can remove the silicone? Thoughts? Thanks all.

Tape is random. Could be 2 hours or forever apparently... Also not generally a fix for this problem and is panel short. If you don't mind it just leave it and hope it stays good forever

Try not to mess too much with the fragile panel to avoid damaging something else.
1. If you have a thermal camera handy, check if any of the ceramic caps near that LVDS connector shows any glow.
2. You may try to use a small piece of thin cellulose tape or kapton tape to insulate a few contact pins at a time on the flex cable to locate which one(s) caused the short. It should be some voltage supply pins that have wider tracks on the PCB, rather than some data pins.
