Hi all,
Was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction of diagnosing and DIY repair on my Philips 42PFL7603D/10.
We've had it since 2009, and use the onboard Freeview receiver, as well as an Apple TV and a recently added Zgemma satellite receiver. However most of the viewing is done via the Freeview receiver.
The issue is that lately when I power the TV on, either from standby or from a powered-off state, the Freeview receiver doesn't detect the stored channels. I need to power cycle the TV several times before it does. The screen is black... the channel menu displays the stored channel name but that is it. It is also difficult to change the input at this stage, it seems to get stuck in the channel list.
Starting it up on any of the other inputs (HDMI1, HDMI2), the TV works fine for those sources.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
