Was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction of diagnosing and DIY repair on my Philips 42PFL7603D/10.

We've had it since 2009, and use the onboard Freeview receiver, as well as an Apple TV and a recently added Zgemma satellite receiver. However most of the viewing is done via the Freeview receiver.

The issue is that lately when I power the TV on, either from standby or from a powered-off state, the Freeview receiver doesn't detect the stored channels. I need to power cycle the TV several times before it does. The screen is...

Hi - my name is Mat. I came across this forum during a search for ways of prolonging the life of my electrical goods at home. Seems a shame to throw away perfectly good kit that only needs a minor repair.
