    Panasonic TX-P37C2 1 blink

I got this set, and on plugging it in it had 1 blink. Tried with isolation of SC and SS board, and everything seemed fine.
Then noticed that everything is corroded on A board, especially A32 connector, it really looked very bad, so assumed that is the problem and i ordered new a board.
Got it - again 1 blink. Had no idea what else to try, because 2 main boards gave me 1 blink, thought maybe panel is bad.
Remembered tw fixed some 1 blinkers. So i got an ebay ch341 flasher. In mean time i acquired a TX-P42C2, and downloaded EEPROM IC9304, save it on my PC.
Today i tried again to check this 37c2, again 1 blink, checked everything else and everything is pointing to a board.
Flashed TX-P37C2 with TX-P42C2, plugged it in, turned on, and no blinks
Perfect picture, didn't try anything else like hdmi, only terrestrial but i assume it should work.
    A board is TNPH0829, flashed IC9304.

So attached is bin file for TX-P42C2, but it should and it will work on TX-P37C2 1 blinker.

Thank you tw2005, it's your fix

So the new mainboard was also "bad" ? Reclaim your money for the mainboard and with the reflash you got a board for free/cheaper.

I would clean/reflow the old connectors on the mainboard and see if you can get it working again.

Well i was on the business trip, and was out for 2-3 months so no way to try the board, and i didn't leave any feedback, that was the best thing i could do. But yes basically the guy sold me one blinker, claimed it's working. Well we are used to guys like that, especially when they say that SC board, or buffers are ok, they are pulled from working tv with smashed screen, how yes no
I took out A32 connector, and i will try to repair it, the original board, if not, no harm, at least i have a spare EEPROM

True! Good job , i might get these ch341 also. Why buy a new board if you can fix it with the EEPROM. Problem is , you need a working board to get the EEPROM data , you can't dld it somewhere....

            OK, i made a mistake.
            I have both TX-P42C2 and TX-P42X20.
I thought i flashed board with 42C2 but actually i did flash it with 42X20, because they are all the same and i mixed everything

Btw, fixed both of this 42" sets, i will try to write down everyhing that i did.

Well, i am again of to a business trip, so i can't read bin from 42C2 but you can try with the one in my first post, that is the one from TX-P42X20 - i think the only difference between these 2 sets is in the number of the AV inputs.
You can try it - nothing to lose basically, you can only win a working board.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Panasonic switching power supply daughter board has two 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors which I do not keep in stock
                    by sam_sam_sam
I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow

This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

Panasonic TC-P54VT25 No image. A or D board?
                    by canadaboy25
I have a Panasonic TC-P54VT25 that will power on and prime the display but there is no image at all.

The panel is primed as there is a slight glow from the entire panel. This means the problem should be logic related. The service manual also confirms this and recommends replacing the A or the D board.

I have tried to get the TV to display the test sequence but I have been unable to and I don't even know if this TV has a test sequence or not. I tried following tom66's instructions in post #3 on this thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=26790. There was...

Hello Friends, i am having this model Panasonic TH-L32C30D, suddenly when i switch on, it went on One Blink, after looking at the service manual it says Backlight_SOS, I can see the menu on the tv screen for few seconds in the dark with the help of flashlight Before it goes into blinking cycle.
I was having a backup P-Board which i replaced it and now its working fine, but i need to repair my faulty P-Board, as now its getting dificult to find any type of spares of this model, so can any friend who is master in Panasonic Repair, be kind enough to guide me or tell me which component should...
