Just picked this up today. I have no Power at all. The main fuse at the power connector tests good. Really just trying to get an idea of where I should start to test from here. All the Caps look good, can't find any resistors or diodes that look burnt top or bottom of the board. I was told that it went out during a thunderstorm. That is why I was thinking I would see something burnt up and have an easy fix. Any help, tips or pointers on where to begin or anyone know what values are where would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Emerson LF501EM5F No Power
check what the voltage is accross C1621 (160v or 360v) , also check the voltage accross C605
there are 2 rows of resistors r610-611-614 and r624-625-626, check the voltage at the end of r614 and r626 (using HOT ground [-] of c605) there should be around 12 or more volts. Its hard to tell from the picture but check the solder connections on Q1601
you may need to look up the number of ic601 and see if its voltages are o.k.Last edited by R_J; 08-08-2016, 11:03 PM.

Re: Emerson LF501EM5F No Power
Do have 160VDC between the two legs of the main big filter cap in the middle of the board? You can run the power supply board by itself.
If you closer at the black connector you will see jumpers with labels telling you what the Voltages are, there are also labels on the bottom side of the board.
There are threads about this model that you should look through first to see what Voltages you should see.

BTW, if you run the power supply board by itself without the flat cable to the main board connected, do you get the ALL.3.3V?Never stop learning

Your PCBA looks to be A3AUQ MPW
Shopjimmy has the kit for Emerson A3AUNMPW-001 Power Supply Board Component Repair Kit.
So I am sure which one is the right one for your board.
