Got a service manual to see which pins has what voltage? I've place my multimeter (-) where the black wire goes and probe the rest with (+) and got 5v and 6v. No 12v nor 24v.

Just saw this. Ok, replaced IC806 and BD140, both of which are brand new but same flashing blue light. Would the main av board has anything to do with this?

    Is that IC806?

Ok. Mine seems the same. I'll grab a BD140 off ebay and report.

17PW26-3 Issue: Flashing Blue Light on TV

This board came in with no display. Replaced few caps and was well. About a week later, tv returned dead; no power, nothing. Looked inside and yellow oval (in picture) was shorted. Replaced it and fuse blew (red). Replaced green and fuse stood strong. The new issue is that the blue light on tv just kept blinking/flashing. What is needs replacing?

I've took the transistors from an old board. Do I need new trans (green oval)?

    The TV: Hitachi 42hxt42u
