When the set turns on I see the LG logo . Then it goes dark . Flashlight shows no video on the the screen . I also get no command from the remote . Only way to turn off is to unplug it . There is a flashing LEd light on the power board LD701. It blinks 4 times and pauses and 4 more blinks . It will eventually stop and turn off the tv after 5min . 3.5v & 12v & 24v are present . I can't find a service manual on this set . Has anyone seen this problem on this set before ? I have checked the LED's and all of them light up .

Please report other DCV readings of all the pins not just the 3.5VDC, 12VDC, and 24VDC.

You should also upload pictures of the whole backside of the TV showing all the boards.
' Only way to turn off is to unplug it .' This indicate main board problem.
BTW, do the backlights stay on if you disconnect the cable between the main board and the power supply/LED driver board?Last edited by budm; 07-11-2016, 04:52 PM.Never stop learning

Also an update while getting these voltages the TV is deciding to work now . So I couldn't try disconnecting the digital main cable to the power board to see if the TVs backlights would stay on . I'll let you know if it acts up .Comment

When it stops working again, measure those pins on post #6 again to see what are missing.Never stop learning

Re: LG 60LB7100-UT backlights turn on then go out .
Ok so running tv with no picture for almost an hour then turning it off then back on I get a picture back . Here are voltages that are different when it works .
Sin / no picture 3.189v - with a pic .128v
P-Dim2 / no picture 1.735v -with a pic 3.53v
On the led output connector :
Led+'s \ when not working 55.5v when has a pic 72v
VC 1 thru 6 / when not working voltages range from 9v to 11.9 - when has a pic they range from 9v to 18v
So with the changes in the Sin and P-dim2 voltages would that be my digital main is faulty ?Comment

Re: LG 60LB7100-UT backlights turn on then go out .
Same here. Ordered and got both power supply and mother board from eBay. Still same problem about 10 seconds and back lights cut off. but image still there.
All lights come on and all look healthy. took the screen apart and confirmed that.
Just to confirm none of the strips is bad.. opened one of the strips circuits; LED back lights all cut off in about 3 seconds in other words problem is not coming from back lights.
Problem has something to do with power supply assembly which contains the back light power and control.
I am suspecting the power supply I received from eBay has the same problem.
any suggestions? thank youComment

Re: LG 60LB7100-UT backlights turn on then go out .
Use Shop Jimmy's LED Tester to test the 6 rows one at a time. I had 2 rows where the voltage on the tester was lower than the other 4 rows. This indicates that there are shorted LED's in those rows. On this model the normal voltage appears to be about 60.2 volts on the 4 good rows. Shorted LED's cause a over currant shutdown of the lamps. The green led on the power supply blinks 4 times indicating over currant also according to the blink code chart from LG.Comment

by pajdekHello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe. Conncted power supply and tuned on my laptop, the lcd turn on, it started to load os, then it turn off, after a second it turn on, then after like 3 seconds turn off again, and so on. by handsworthNeed some advice here. So I picked up this 55" off the curb and diagnosed it with bad leds. I opened it up, tested the 4 strips with the tester and yes, 2 strips had burnt leds. I ordered a new set and installed them. But before putting tv back together, I always test tv to make sure I did it correctly. Tv lights up and works, however when turning tv off, the top set of leds remain on. Swapped power supply with identical one and same results. Swapped MB with identical one, same results. So I put the tv back together and reset MB. Tv works fine like new, but leds remain on when powering...

by RdeveLabsTo all the members here...
Let me tell you a little bit about what happened to my laptop (MSI GF63 THIN 11UCX model: MS-16R6) that “maybe” you know how to solve this problem.
So before this problem happened, my laptop was running smoothly. When I wanted to restart my laptop, it looked fine at first. But after I waited for this restart process to take a long time, until finally I panicked (because the restart process did not finish plus the laptop screen only showed a black screen), I immediately pressed and held the power button to force the laptop to turn off. But... -
by robante15Hello, I have an Acer Aspire 4520 from a couple of decades ago and I want to repair it solely for nostalgia.
It happens that when I turn it on after having been disconnected for a long time, it turns on without problems, it tells me that the BIOS has been reset and that it will load the factory settings, if I tell it to continue, the computer turns on and everything works fine.
The moment I turn it off and want to turn it back on a second time, or restart it and try to start it again, it no longer gives an image, and it no longer responds.
If I remove the... -
by masoksianHi everyone,
I am dealing with the problem of turning on and off my Dell e7470 notebook.
The battery charge light is solid white, I press the button, the power indicator and the light on the button are solid for 1-2 seconds and immediately turn off.
The system does not turn on, there is no post.
I removed the RAMs and changed them, changed the battery, RTC battery, AC adapter, removed them and waited, tried again, it does not turn on.
The problem continues in the same way.
I tried to turn on the Fn key, nothing came to the screen.... - Loading...
