Re: Panasonic TX-40AX630B flashing green standby

sorry to hear that, i assume the LED unit at this set are the small one with Just one LED light vor 2.8-3-2 Volts. if replace one or 2 dont worry on luming as size 60 will never effect either if you just jumper it with zener diode

Hi, I am new to the site and came on here as have exact same TV and problem you had and also have one LED rail outputting only 3.1v, same as you. I had already replaced the A board when I found your posts and would be most grateful if you can advise me what type of LED strip I should buy to fix it with please. I cannot obtain the correct LED Strip to just replace, so will need to Stack as you did. I would like to buy a strip before I pull the back off and would greatly appreciate you telling me what one I should buy, or will any strip from a Panasonic TX TV have the correct LEDs? Thanks for any advice. Mike

                                      Hi
If you take the panel apart the strips have a part number on them,
with a bit of luck and a search you may find one.there could be two different
                                      strips in there.
If not you need a strip from the same maker as it needs same voltage /
                                      current specs.

                                      Alan.

Thanks Alan, I thought that would be necessary. I had hoped to be able to contact directly the guy who started this post, as he had the exact same tv and my symptoms are exactly the same. I really wanted to have replacement part to hand, so I could take the backplate off and repair it all in one hit. I will do as you suggested, I guess that is the best way of getting the correct part anyway.

                                          Hi
The problem is, that possibly your set has a different panel fitted
to the o/p so it's best to open it up and know for sure.

Panasonic TC-P60S30 - no standby voltage

                                            Hi All,
Wanting to learn some electronics repair skills.
I found a non working Panasonic TC-P60S30 and this is my first project / attempt.

So far I have found a blown cap on the main power supply board.
After replacing it there's still no standby power.

Poked around and found a resistor on the PSUB power supply board that measures open.

An online resistor calculator shows this is a 93k ohm resister.

                                            My questions:

                                            Is that correct, 93k ohms?
                                            Is it a fusible resistor?
Lastly, how do I know what wattage?...

Hello, Badcaps is my last resort. I am the first owner of the monitor. I reached almost every repair store in my area, but no one even wanted to hear about troubleshooting an old CRT monitor. At this point, I have been trying to figure it out by myself, but I have no idea where to start or look for.

I wish to know how to think and locate a failing component. I will put all my efforts to learn and contribute.

                                            Hello Sharp TV experts
Our Sharp LC-80LE642U displays one short one long flash error code which is a backlight error. I went into service mode and there were 8 lamp error counts recorded. I reset the count to 0 and did a reset. The last monitor error cause was 16 B00014639:12. 16 is the code for backlight error. I tried to power the tv up but went back into error mode.

Good afternoon! I have this TV with a Chinese combo plate. The symptom is that you turn it on and the standby LED goes on for a while, alternating red and green. In the end it remains green, but without image and without backlighting. I have measured voltages and they are fine, even the TCON has its correct reference voltages. I think it must be a firmware problem. What do you think?

Elitebooks (820, 840 etc. all gens) and those continuously flashing Power LED + flashing CapsLock LED

As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...
