Re: Emerson LF501EM4F turn on then off.
So jump 3.3 to p-on_h2 with 1k resistor! I got to see if I have a 1k resistor. Does the wattage of the resistor matter?

Re: Emerson LF501EM4F turn on then off.
OK so the 3.3V is your standby voltage. With the main board still disconected connect your 3.3V using a 1K resistor to P-on_H2 (I think) and check the other votages come up and if they are stable.Leave a comment:

Re: Emerson LF501EM4F turn on then off.
All 3.3v is there all the time. Even After it turns off, main connected and disconnected .
So I do have 3.3vLeave a comment:

Have you run the power supply up disconnected from the main board to see what supplies on it are stable.Leave a comment:

Re: Emerson LF501EM4F turn on then off.
So you do not have any standby voltage? If that is the case you need to take a look at the power supply to find what the problem is.Leave a comment:

3.3v there but when it turns off it goes to 0vLeave a comment:

Is the All3.3 voltage there and stable?Leave a comment:

Re: Emerson LF501EM4F turn on then off.
On the main board there is a ribbon cable that goes over to the power supply. There is pin called PSon on the main board. Set your meter to DCV, put your probe between it and GND and observe what happens to that pin when it is off, when you turn the TV on and then when it shuts itself off.
P-on+21v shows 21.1v then goes to 11.65v when it turns offLeave a comment:

I see
all+3.3v
Amp+137
P-on+21v
P-on_h2Leave a comment:

Disconnect the power supply and measure the dc voltages as given on the board. 5V,3,3V,12V, 24V whatever they are.Leave a comment:

The whole tv turns off. No reboot. I unhooked the ir sensor but still the same thing.Leave a comment:

The tv turns off. I have to unplug it for it to turn back on but it will it again. Seems like a short on one of the boards.Leave a comment:

Re: Emerson LF501EM4F turn on then off.
Is it the backlight just turning off, or is the whole TV that turns off, reboots etc.
If it is the later, I would say main board. There are EEPROM kits or main boards available at SJ.
Also try to unhook that IR sensor from the main board and see what happens.Leave a comment:

Emerson LF501EM4F turn on then off.
Someone just gave me this tv.
When I plug it in, it turns on it can see the Emerson logo then for a split second it it goes to the normal screen before turning off. When it turns off I speakers make a popping sound.
Hard for me to figure out main board or power board.Tags: None

by waakyeHi everyone,
I was giving this ASUS ROG G750JM that exhibit the following behavior:
When you press the power button, the computer turns with no image and turn it's off within 7 seconds. The battery charges when I connect the AC power. I tried flashing the bios with the uSB method and pressing Ctrl + Home and I can see the bios upgrade on external monitor.
My issue is the laptop doesn't stay on for a long time and turn itself off.
Any lead on how to resolve this will be appreciated.
I cannot boot in windows and no liquid damage.
Thanks in advance. -
by gabrielA7Does not turn on, lights 3 of the 4 LEDs and turns off and stays like this, presses the power and repeats.
I saw that the room LED lights up only when the screen is connected, so quiet.
We have all the power supplies, even processor, 1.8V
One thing I found strange, it has a very low resistance in the Vcore is giving 1 Ohm , work with notes and such, I know that this is normal in some processors but with this resistance only take video card so found it strange.
I suspect that there may be some leak in the processor.
Anyway, when I press the power, it... -
by pajdekHello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe. Conncted power supply and tuned on my laptop, the lcd turn on, it started to load os, then it turn off, after a second it turn on, then after like 3 seconds turn off again, and so on. Removed power supply, waited...

Let me tell you a little bit about what happened to my laptop (MSI GF63 THIN 11UCX model: MS-16R6) that “maybe” you know how to solve this problem.
So before this problem happened, my laptop was running smoothly. When I wanted to restart my laptop, it looked fine at first. But after I waited for this restart process to take a long time, until finally I panicked (because the restart process did not finish plus the laptop screen only showed a black screen), I immediately pressed and held the power button to force the laptop to turn off. But... - Loading...
