Well it was a pleasure not seeing this... not a crappy vestel board in sight even though its an old model (2008)
it turned on and got sound but no backlight
opened her up no badcaps and the fuse was dead on the inverter MPF3003 so hunted around and the big power transistor at the top had gone short on the solder side just above transistor theres a 4r7 resistor which was hanging on for dear life checked and resoldered her in, i didnt have any toshiba K4107 so looked up spec and replaced it with a 20n60 all fitted and testing.... cleaned out 8 years of brown smoke dust ewww but brushed up nicely fully working now
