I put a conductor but makes short circuit and does not start the laptop after removing it it works without backlight and the port of vga works fine.. On 40 pin of lvds has 3.3v...can I make backlight to work without taking signal from motherboard...Leave a comment:

as I mentioned before the reason that burned conductor coil was a short of 40 pin with the ground from lvds cable.. Thas why the backlight of display does not work.. A friend of mine in his action to replace the display due to dark spots he broke the small corner of lvds cable whish does not seeing with eyes and he made short to ground... After I replece the lvds cable I have picture but not backlight... Shall I leave it in this condition or I shall have more problems if I but a conductor......Leave a comment:

i have seen on board view that the component is L4501 DESCRIPTION VX_L0603_H37_SMALL And has 2 contacts 1 ac-inv 2 +ac bat sys

I have a toshiba laptop satelite series c55-a-1h9 with a burnt item on pcb motherboard which is responsible for backlight display. the short came after installation of cable lvds and broken the leg with the v+ of backlight and made this short . the lvds cable replaced and i have working display now but not backlight. the problem is i dont know what was the component that burned in order to change it. voltage i have in this points of burned item at up side 19v and dropping and from down i have steady 19v . can anyone help me? i shall post some photos to see....Last edited by Boyxba; 05-13-2023, 11:59 AM. -

i have found on the pcb on the bottom a rail which was burned ....i see a resistance with crack on it the green one which i dont know its resistance the letters are not recognized..and the capacitor behind tip 127 had leakage after i start up the machine without change the resistance. i check it with multimeter and i saw 48ohms...the others are 6kohm ..each...Last edited by Boyxba; 05-07-2022, 10:27 AM.Leave a comment:

You had absolute right i cut the pcb in the burn area and the machine start up...it has another issue ..on ports of welder has only 10volt ac...and if i increase amp it does a little better arc but its still weak for welding. i think voltage must be at last 30volts... shall i check the big capacitors with esr ? or its something else?Leave a comment:

the drive of mosfet is 3845b..ic the resistors near the mosfet are ok...the capacitor has replaced . in the holes missing capacitor 0.033nf 1000v . at the hole near mosfet has a rail which goes to smd resistance and after to driver ic . before i dont know the rail where was gone ? the mosfet replaced p10nk80zfp..shall i replace drive mosfet ?...Leave a comment:

i have a power supply with issue in -12v rail. after 15seconds of power the diagnostic begins beep and shows LL ON -12V which means undelvoltage .. i have replaced the most of the capacitors due to missing capacitance (checked with capacitometer)..but i have stil the same problem . can anyone help me to find the solution to fix it....the diodes are ok...i have checked.. -
