    UN60FH6003FXZA*no video

Hello, I'm a new subscriber to this forum. Having some issues with a Samsung UN60FH6003FXZA. Here's the history.
    1. Purchased TV second hand under the impression it needed a Tcon board.TV powered on, backlight on, sound on, blank bluish tinted screen. Researched the repair and proceeded with the replacement.
    2. Replacement Tcon didn't resolve the issues. Wasn't exactly certain the replacement board was functional, so re installed original. Did some further research. Came across a site advising a reset by holding power button, restarting TV etc. Once done the screen illuminated, briefly saw the menu function screen, but no full visible picture. Checked cables to Tcon etc and restarted, screen would illuminate to various stages. Vertical lines, horizontal lines, white screen with horizontal lines etc.
    3. Tried different video sources, results varied, but no video just sound. Horizontal limes seem to show some changes while video is playing, menu button pressed etc. Noting at all viable other than multi colored lines, sometimes fading into white screen, other times just horizontal and vertical.
I'm not certain if the Tcon would cause these issues or maybe the main board itself. Maybe simply the ldvs ribbon. Or worst a completely bad panel. Im seeking some advice prior to moving on. Any assistance is appreciated

I would say bad panel since I do not believe bad T-CON can make black cloudy patch like that.

Thanks. But the screen does not always exhibit the cloudy patch. Each time I power on the TV it exhibits different patterns, horizontal and vertical lines, color streaking, white screen etc. At times the cloudy patches show othe times not. But the location of the patches varies

Did you try having one ribbon cable between the panel and the T-CON connected one at a time to see what you will get on the screen?

Vertical colored lines with horizontal lines on only side of connected ribbon cable. No video visible

            It is the panel.

So all other possible culprits can be eliminated. Tcon, main board, ldvs cable etc etc. Thanks

Well without taking apart the back, I decided to examine the connector ribbons going from the Tcon board to the screen. As I loosen the ribbons and gently pull away from tcon, some visible picture comes to the screen. The words No signal can be slightly. So I'm wondering if these ribbons could be the issue

As stated by the person I collected the TV from, it just stopped working overnight. However, I still gave it a go to try and repair it.

There is a thread on the same TV but with slightly different issues where they had to tape connection points on the ribbon cable, so I want to see if this is repairable by any chance.

After bringing it home and plugging it in, the TV turned on with its backlight working but had no picture. After removing the back cover, the first thing I tried is to unplug one of the ribbon cables and the situation is as follows.

Sony XBR-65X750D Horizontal lines bottom of screen
                    by ggil44
Hi, I have a Sony XBR-65X750D that has horizontal lines at the bottom 6 inches of the screen. These lines appear to be every other line because the picture is still quite visible behind those lines. The lines appear all the time with a few other lines above and below the 6 inch level blinking on and off at about 2 second intervals. I'm not sure if this is a panel issue or power supply/main board problem. I did replace the T-Con board without any change in the problem. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

                    Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
                    by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

Samsung QE50Q60TAU - Horizontal screen lines
                    by Runlinc
Hi everyone, the tv was in a continuous reboot cycle. To get the best screen image i can I taped the VGH and VSS pins on the left side buffer board joining ribbon.

I am left with a good image apart from the black horizontal lines that I cannot get rid of.

I cannot find anything on the buffer boards that has shorted.

Do you think there is anything i can do to eliminate the lines, or are they caused by an internal panel short and the image cannot be impoved.

                    Many thanks for your assistance
