Can you help me find the fuse and test this TCON?

I pulled this TCON off a non-working set.

I thought I might keep it, because it's a fairly rare one for me, but not sure if it's likely good or bad. Is there a way I can test the fuse or anything else on it without having it installed on a working set?

Perhaps a real photo might help. Certain parts of the world are blocked from viewing shopjimmy.

F1 is the fuse, marked UD ,slightly above the single connector. It does however have a AS15 gamma chip, notorious for failure. You can test the fuse but not sure how you would test the AS15 without a tv.

Samsung LN40C630K1F LCD TV No Backlights and Flashlight Test Fail
          by signal.quest
          Hi all,

I have been working on a Samsung LN40C630K1F LCD TV. On power up the backlights only briefly light up when first powered on then they go out (2 seconds to black). The flashlight test also fails. The sound works fine. Please see attached pics.

I have researched the forums a lot. I have watched the videos of trying to locate the bad CCFL or transformer and bypassing. I can't find any evidence of a bad transformer/CCFL. I verified I get 376V from the big caps to the fuse. I have used a small/cheap oscilloscope and it looks like the MOSFETs on the inverter...

Lg TCon test pins for screen test
          by alltvrepairs
          Hi,
i have a 65 Panasonic TX-65HX710E using vestel 17MB170 main and Lg tcon.

Few drops of water fell probably near COF and have no display. Tried removing tabs but no.part of display present as if tcon fuse open. However 12v is present and tcon can be felt warm enough that supplies are present. Backlight and sound ok.

Anyone knows if this TCon 6870c-0805A has any special test pins for rgb test?

          Appreciate your help....

A funny fuse story – Lumix LX100 II
          by corrize
Hello, I disassembled this dead camera, and found this WTF… Two fuses soldered one above the other !
I was pretty sure nobody touched it before, but that can't be from factory. There is flux, and capacitor is probably missing.
          The other weird thing : the fuses are « G » fuse : (0.75A – 8V), seems very low. The original fuse should be « O » : (32V 2,5A).
There is « O » mark beside. All fuses have the same mark letter on main board. So, I can deduce it's a « O » fuse.
And this correspond to the issus I saw : when I plug the battery, I measure the voltage dropping...

          TCON and self diagnosis!
          by angelos
          Hi Guys.
I have experienced something rather unique and need to find out by the forum what to make of it.
I got in this set, a JVC or Telefunken LED TV whose complaint is that sometimes the set comes up blank with the back lights running. So I switched on and yes there was a blank screen and back lights were running. I checked the fuse on the TCON and sometime later I lifted the set off the table to check the image (the TV has no feet to let it stand upright) and noticed the set was cycling red, green blue, test pattern, blank then all over again doing this. Suddenly the no signal...
