VIVAX LED TV 32LE60 backlight problem

Hello, i got this LED TV with bad backlight. I disassable it and TV has 2 set of line with 10 small SMD LED diode. (total 20 diodes) I found that 2 diodes were dead (one on each line). I found similar LED diode and replace them. I tested the whole line with 30VDC and it worked, but when i connect to tv LED burned.

The output of main board is 60VDC when turn on backlight, what is the problem here is the problem that LED i use is not enough Amps?

Was it the replacement leds that burnt?

yes, only those 2 led i replaced burned. I think they cannot handle that current. I check the other LED they handle 0.08A at 3V. The one i use is less than 0.01A at 3V so i think that is the reason why they burned.

      The LED are 2.8mm x 3.5mm

Do you know where i can find them online

You want at least 300~400mA range LED. They drive those LED hard so they fail, you should turn down the backlights level after are fininsh repairing.
What does the LED look like?

yes your replacements were rated for too low current.
          post pics.
i had a 55" samsung with bad leds.they were 5630 type run at 150 ma.
i found some in bulk on ebay cheap.they were yuji high cri rated 250ma.
but polarity reversed and 6000k. originals were way cooler .it looked better to the customer than a newer set.i am glad i got the reel of 5000 once i figured out the real cost.
seller didnt know what he had.

It is 2835 LED, i think that 80mA will be ok. I cannot find 2835 LED that is above 100mA

Read what Budm said. They push the Leds up to 400mha in these cheap Tv's. Look up for "Led strips out smashed Tv" on ebay and do the stacking method of repair.

Hi. I have a problem with Asus ROG GA402RK. The keyboard suddenly stopped working along with the kb backlight. I replaced the keyboard and the ITE KBC chip and the problem is still the same. I don't see any passive elements that look damaged. Does anyone have an idea?

MacBook Air A2337 (820-02016) USB-C Port Issue – Only Works in One Orientation (CC Line Problem?)
                  by rounin
                  Hi everyone,

I'm working on a MacBook Air 2020 (A2337, board 820-02016) and running into a strange USB-C issue. I've gone through quite a bit of testing and part replacement, but I'm stuck — hoping someone here can shed some light.

                  🛠 Original Issue
                  The machine initially wouldn't negotiate 20V over USB-C — stuck at 5V.
Diagnosis showed PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE shorted to ground.

I replaced U3100 (UF400) using a donor board (A2179), and the machine powers on fine now.

As the title states i am an owner of an LG flatron M2362DP 23 inch monitor Tv. Since i currently use it as a tv i'm posting the problem on the "troubleshooting tvs and video sources" section.

hello I have a backlight problem on this TV, if I unplug the cn201 cable the backlight works perfectly and the voltages are 13v if I connect the cn201 cable the backlight goes off and the voltage drops to 12v, I assume it's a motherboard problem, the question is has anyone had a similar problem? I want to understand if the motherboard is repairable or it's not worth wasting time...

Backlight problem - Asus M3200WU, board Gapal LA-L291p
                  by Honziq
                  Hello,

I have this All-in-one PC, after SSD change there is no picture. I was found out it is a backlight problem, but LEDs are OK. There is 4 led strings each working on 42,4V, but from board is comming only 5V.

I was repaired many backlights before but this design i will not understand.

For me it looks like it is waiting for some signal from screen to start up the backlight or something like this. Nothing seems to be damaged or shorted here.

Can someone explain me please what to do, what to check?

                  Thanks....
