Lg 50ps3000 no va or vs

Hi Guys got this tv today, the set turns on red turns blue then off again 30 secs later but no picture
removed back no blown fuses, no dry joints, no shorts on fets etc.

(disconnecting z sus and y sus same results)
getting VS-on from mainboard and its steady, got 5v standby, but NO VS/VA NO 12v no 17V or the m5v either voltage regulator seems ok no shorts but theres a diode marked in red when i meter it it seems to be pulsing and my flukes not even getting a reading
oh and no activity on control board
any ideas?

Checked my video on the repair I did on a PS3000 buddy ? Failed Vs on signal generated by the mobo.

i did indeed bud but vs-on is there on psu and is stable 3rd in from the right
any other ideas mate ?

Hmm and you say no blown fuses ? Also no Vs with Y and Z unplugged ?

yep nothing checked all 4 fuses all measure ok

Ok have you checked the large ceramic resistors near the top ? Quite sure I seen a thread where one if those failed on a similar Psu.

yep all 3 measure 10ohm

still no vs/va..12v or 17v
changed L6599D ic801 fets measure all ok im lost what to do now

any pointers please

I've got a brand new, unused power supply PCB for the 50PS3000. Been sat in stock for quite some time!

well got the chip does not work not programed im gussing put old one back in and it clicks new one no clicks

well i got replacement power supply off of The Guvnor (Thanks Again) fitted it and it works only just one small problem a dam single pixel blue line up the screen tried cleaning flat cables and lower buffer ribbon in line with the blue line and no joy later read up that its a common thing cos they're crap panels... well gutted

well just to confirm the chip was the fault short on pin 5 on ic701 on the psu pin 5 is vdd

How come lol ? You get the good and bad sometimes buddy
