Yeah seems common on Panasonic Plasma the address buffer connector to the bottom left hand sides of the screen always seem to break lose. I did a TX-P50G10B the other day same issue simple to fix but stupid. Maybe contact Panasonic and tell them your unhappy and want it sorting ?

My 50G10 did summit similar, but the issue was more or less in middle of screen.

It would fringe red at certain picture brightness/colours in a bar of COF chip width to full height, the fringing looking like tiny bargraphs in line with TV lines....

Lived with it for a bit, too lazy to pull it down from wall.--It came and went then came back. Cleaned the COF to C board connections, hasn't come back since Christmas when I fixed it.
--The plug/film ribbon is pretty feeble--no wonder it goes a bit dodgy after a while...
Just glad it wasn't the COF itself.....

Hmm it is common on Panasonic Plasmas I have done a couple now. Guess how I fixed mine ? Well as the connector was corroded and worn on a group of contacts I took my iron to them and timmed them off slightly, then cleaned with Ipa. Should reinforce it a bit better been working good for about a week.

Okay so this past weekend I was able to take the back off and clean things off a bit. Used the air can and gently vacuumed up the dust. Unfortunately, I couldn't get to the C1 Ribbons as they were down in there pretty deep and covered up by the frame itself. I would've had to start removing the frame and bezel in order to get to the C1 ribbons. (Picture Attached but its turned to the sideways) So I proceeded to just try and take out the C1 board by loosening up the screws and disconnecting wires and what not. I opened up the little black clips that hold the ribbons in and gently pulled up on the C1 board. Unfortunately I couldn't get the C1 board to disconnect from the ribbons. I had everything disconnected but the ribbons wouldn't come out of the board. So instead of trying to force the issue I just assumed that the ribbons were not loose......at all. Obviously. LOL! And I didn't want to tear them by pulling too much so I just sprayed air in there and reclamped/screwed everything back down. I was curious of the other ribbons that run horizontally from the SU & SD boards and those suckers wouldn't budge either! I've read that if you tear a ribbon then the panel is garbage so I didn't force things too much. I opened up the black clips holding the ribbons and sprayed air in there. That was all I could do short of tearing the ribbons...........and they felt flimsy so I'm sure it wouldn't take much.

Each of the COF is mounted to a chunk of ally thats bolted to the frame with two screws. In my G10, there's 15 COF chips.

Way I did it was strip all the junk away to gain access to the C boards, ribbons and COF, then did one at a time, removing the screws from the COF carefully lifting just slightly then unplugging the ribbon from the C board, cleaning contacts with switch cleaner then reassembling.

Yeah I did strip all of the junk away........unscrewed the C Board from the panel, disconnected all the wires that were attached to it and unlocked the little black tabs that hold the ribbons in place. The C Board still wouldn't budge. It's like the ribbons are glued in there or something. Now I did use a sufficient amount of force and did not baby it at all but any more pulling and I would've ripped or would've torn the ribbons. Only thing I can think of that may have been better is if I would've taken the frame or bezel apart then I could've really gotten in there a little more because the lower part of the C Board and the ribbons are sitting inside this metal frame. There's no way to get to those lower ribbons by hand.......not like the horizontal ribbons on the left and right side. Only way that I could've done this was to lay the tv on its face so the glass would've stayed in place because I'm sure if I unscrewed the bezel and the frame the glass would've been unstable with it just sitting on the stand. I just didn't want to risk it for something that I'm sure is probably just minor burn in. This ZT60 isn't like the other models unfortunately. I watched a lot of videos on how to properly disconnect the ribbons. Believe me there was no way of getting at them without taking the lower frame off. Didn't want to risk damaging it.

If its working--Best leave it be!

On the Samsung the COF is clamped between the metal of the panel and a steel strip mounted on top, the ribbons are attached--on some, permanently bonded to its 'C' board not intended to be removed
--Maybe the late Pans are the same, although you mention edge-plugs for the ribbons....

Yeah I think you're right for sure! I mean I was yanking on the ribbons and they weren't budging. LOL! Just like you said, these ribbons might be permanently bonded to the C Board. Craziness cuz all the videos I watched made it look so easy.......the ribbons would pop right out and slide back in with very little effort. Not with this ZT60 though. LOL! So for now I will just leave it be and try to enjoy it. Hey at least I cleaned all the dust bunnies of the fans and all of the innards.

Yeah it'll probably be another year or two before the ZT60's start needing actual repairs and what not. They're still only a 2-3 years old so most are running pretty good I would think. I know mine was built May of 2013 but I believe the last ones made were in January of 2014. Everybody's ranting and raving about the new OLED's but I just cant see it. I know the blacks are a bit better than Plasma but the motion apparently isn't as good as there's blurry and ghosting. I'm gonna try to keep my ZT60 as long as possible.
