Hello guys

got this tv today tv will turn off back lights flash on but then keeps restarting in a loop

suspected that its a bad led but voltages are stable going to back light around 60 volt but then rises once backlight comes on then decreases and tv then restarts over and over ?

any ideas guys ?

Failed firmware I have a Bush 28" with the same issue failed firmware causing it to be stuck in reboot loop. Absolutely shite Tv's these are.

A picture from the back showing all the boards and how they are connected will help us help you fix this TV.

how did you changed eeprom. ? and which bits you wrote on it...

Preprogrammed one from OHM supplies.

Hmm doubt the Bl would be causing that though. It should work with the Bl on or not, what happens when you in plug the Bl ?

if you mean unplug the backlight ?
then its still the same i thought that i found a diode that was shorted but once removed from circuit it was fine

No i only have literally one second before the backlight goes off

you have bad led open and one shorted

Hmm I dont think so but worth a try to check it, also be very careful the Lcds in them are paper thin.

when he remove the first front frame, put LCD on face on clean table then left it fro other, so it will stay as its, same way to to bring it back. place chassis frame on the lcd which grounded on the table

So it keeps restarting, and still doing the same without LED connector (the one with RED/WHITE wires).
Will it also restarting if LVDS cable is also disconnected?
And how do you stop it from restarting? Unplug the AC power cord or you can still use the power switch or the remote to turn it off?
