    BUSH LED40127FHDCNTD, flashing LED'S

just got hold of this and was told working but the screen is flashing,
great, i thought, dead led causing the problem, well it turns out after removing the screen it is bottom lit with LED'S, i've put a video up on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_y-TTOpEU4
so you can see what happens,
checked the normal diodes and mosfet, but all are fine, anyone got any ideas,
voltage from the power board to LED's seem stable ?

Any pictures of the bottom side of the power supply-LED driver board?
I am not sure if this SCH is the exact match of your board or not

So the Boosted Voltage at the LED connector PL500 pin 1 and 5 steady?
And the Dimming control signal at connector PL201 pin 2 is also steady? Same for BL_ON/OFF pin 1? Same for +24V?

right, just been messing with the picture settings in the menu, i have stopped it from flashing, i have turned ECO OFF and GAME mode on, this is the only setting that the LED's are not flashing, maybe this will give a better idea as to where the problem is, any other picture mode on the tv is flashing and darker with ECO OFF

So if you reduce the backlights level to as low as possible, the LEDs will stop flashing in any mode?

This is a Vestel set so there is. Set the picture to "dynamic" then yoh can set the Bl to "low" doing this will turn off any other adjustments for the Bl on these sets.

its ok, got it, because it was on game, the backlight was on auto, and could not be changed,
so this is what i now have, with backlights on full, i have 3 modes that are fine, GAME, SPORT, DYNAMIC,
                            other modes still flash,
setting the backlight to any lower setting it all goes back to flashing, so where is the problem,? Mainboard ? or the IC on the power board ?

I would say the Ic that sends the Pwm signals to the Led boost mosfet is failing. Its on the power board and im also sure its a common failure on these boards too. Wait and see what others think.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                          Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Recently I've gotten into EC flashing due to my broken laptop(s) and started frantically searching methods for flashing the IT5571E-128 chip on the cheap(due to me beaing a student and not having a job) and noticed that ITE newer chips can be flashed via ISP (In-System Programming) either via SMBus or the KBC (EPP - Enhanced Parallel Port) interface. While these can be achieved with programmers like SVOD4/3 or the RT809H/F those options are WAYYY out of my budget so I was horrified. But recently I stumbled uppon some programmers on aliexpress that claim they can program a variety of ITE chips...

All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
                                          • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
                                          • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

                                          Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....
