Saw this post after I edited my last one.
      Ok,thanks budm.
This being an Emerson, is it worth fixing it?
$75 for the led set and I spent $25 for the TV.
      Or should I not bother?

Two already went, and who know when the third one will go, the main concern is that how the use one were used, if they were driving them on hard which is typical then do not expect the used one will last either.
Once you replace them you should also turn down the backlights level on the on screen user menu.
At this point it is a gamble, I would do all 3, it is 50" panel which will NOT be EASY to disassemble.

You can do it for repair experience, now you already know how to find out which string works as which one does not work.
I would open the panel and test each LED to see how many are bad,.

If I lay the panel screen down on the floor, won't I have access to the LEDs once I take the back off completely?

I saw reecey's video on how to test them but I don't feel confident replacing just the bad ones.

You need to remove the LCD glass panel, the diffuser, etc. from the front of the LCD panel assembly.

Its a task but gives you good experience. I have a 50" Toshiba to do tomorrow with bad Led in the panel will make a video but I will be using the stacking method rather than replacing the actual bad Led.

Stacking method? I don't have a hot air gun like you used.
I'd have to replace the whole set. Like budm said, what if these were used on full brightness for years, I put them in and it last a week?
Maybe I'm better off just selling the psu and main board.

Why not fix it, why not take that leap and try ehy ? There will be a way to reduce the Bl in the menu I have had Tv's that I repaired the Led backlight almost have lasted longer than they originally did. Also Budm has a thread on how to do the stacking method, here is the link:

My wife is going to kill me. I have the tc-p55gt30 and p55vt30 sitting open in our spare front room, an kg 50pc3d, a Samsung un40d6400 in a spare bedroom, now this one.
I need to stop. Is there something like AA for this?

The stacking seems easier for me than your method ReeceyBurger123, since I don't have a hot air station.
I could then replace all of them, keep the ones I take out and cut out and save the good ones for the next repair and use the stacking method with the ones I keep.

Btw is Reecey ok? Your name is soo long. Lol

It is, thats why im doing video on it. My other method is to make the strip look as original as possible. Stacking is also very effective as you can thermal adhere the replacement Led to the old strip and also give the Led on it a large area of copper trace to cool and its also very easy to preform.

I guess if I take it apart and put it back together without breaking anything, I've accomplished it.
If I break the screen, I'd be no worse off than if I hadn't fixed it except I'd have spent the money on the LEDs.

Or I could test them as per your video, see how many need replaced. Maybe I can get away with buying one strip and stacking them.

The Voltage (before boost and after the boost circuit kicks in) will be present on the feeding pins to the Anode side of the LED string with or without the connector in place.
