Bush LCD40883f1080p Stuck in standby PSU voltages good Last ditch attempt

Hi there had this Tv come in vestel rubbish stuck in standby constantly flashing blue led. checked all voltages and there good so had a route around and found that these vestel units have firmware failers also which causes this problem.

any help appreciated on finding one for this tv would be helpfull before i bin it.

psu model no 17pw26-5 v3
mb no 17mb62-2.5 23032666 on white sticker seems to tally up with this model also although theres loads :/

Probably firmware failure, as all voltages are correct Psu is good. You will need the Mboot folders for that exact board or a new mainboard. Dont trash it though worth saving even if it is a Vestel.

hi there ReecyBurger yes thinking the same but how on earth can i get those im stumped spent hours looking and all i can find is ref the failer. all very frustraiting with these if you have to buy a main board for a 2 min (possible) fix via usb. thanks for your reply

No worries glad to help, there is a guy called Michael Drainfeild (or something) on here he has alot of Vestel mboot files etc message him or there is a board on ebay for £40 here is the number:

Andy at Ohm supplies has Files loaded on USB for most Vestal main board £15.00 i think. and is always adding to his list. give him a call

No worries you found me ! , private message me with the serial number of the set and the number on the white bar code starting 100 on the board itself as I have hundreds of these files stored on my computer .
