Philips 55PFL5705D/F7 bad LCD?

I have a Philips LCD TV that has the symptoms pictured below. I opened up the set and reseated connectors, which didn't change the symptom. No parts have been replaced. I'm fairly certain it is a bad LCD, but I wanted to pass it by others to get their opinions.

The pics are showing the set displaying an OTA channel with normal sound.
