HDMI properties

I have two 24" open frame ( commercial display ) monitors.
I purchased them with Brightsign media players. They both function identically when connected to the media units. For some bizarre reason, only one of them will work from HDMI from blu ray, TV box, computer etc. I have tried every possible combination. Both are the same model. Manufacture date about 4 months apart.

I would like to use them in a dual display arrangement.

Any suggestions?

Firmware versions maybe diffrent? im not sure how you can check this though

check all the settings especially things like "deep color" and "color space". Further, your "description" of the problem is a little thin... "doesn't work"... what is happening? no picture, "unsupported mode"... ????

As part of trouble shooting, move the resolution settings down to 720p and work from there.
