    Visio VX42L--picture flutter

Picture flutters--like you are watching a rapid series of stills. Sound is steady and OK. When I got the set, it worked fine for 24+ hours, then I shut it down and restarted later with the flutter. Haven't had a chance to pull the back and check anything--but does this sound like the typical failure of some particular part?

    Thanks

Please up load good clear pictures of the whole back side of the TV so we can see all the boards.
BTW, what is the FULL model number of this TV? There are more than one versions of VX42L.

Check the blue caps on the inverter boards, they fail often.
Are they bulged, it's hard to tell from your pictures.

Bingo--all 4 were bulged--I'll replace them and give you a report. I stared at these at least 3 times and overlooked this.

            Thanks very much

EDIT: that seems to be the trick, I had spares of the 470 mfd @ 35V, and am running it now--seems to be fixed. Again, thanks
