No, it is a problem with the forum. I wrote the same message once again.

One of my neigbors gave me this Tv. He tried to opened it first to check the fuse. I don't have the remote.

When I saw the Tv, it had the front power button weakened. Is there a way to check if it works?

You can check the contact resistance between the two terminals of the switch when it is pushed and released.

It works perfect. Do you think the power supply can generate this problem too?

                  Re: Toshiba 58L135UC Power issues

At this point I do not know what is causing the POWON to be stuck HIGH like that.
The power supply gets the command signal from the main board to tell it to turn on the rest of the power supplies.
Since some one else had been inside the TV, I would check all the connectors and connectors pins to make sure they are seated properly, no bent pins, all the circuit board mounting screws are tight, etc. But for sure you do have power supply board problem. you need that to run first before going further and you may find out after getting the correct Voltages but find out there are problem with the main board too, it's a gamble.

In this situation I quit. The power supply is more expensive than I expectedand it might not solve the probleme.

Thank you very much for your help.

                      Same issue same board
                      just found Q301 shorted
looks like K13A25D on the FET not sure though
removing this transistor relieved shorts all over the board

                          Thanks anthonystv

Got this model in with report that it turned on without backlight. Couldn't figure out the wiring to probe from the LED connector so spent an hour taking panel off to find all backlights tested good.

Put back together and tv was dead with no standby light. Found this post and Q301 tests as short. Part is FDPF3N50NZ (N-CH, 500V, 3A, TO-220F). Replaced with equivalent (fuse was not blown) and tv powers up.

Model 58L1350UC. Think C suffix is for Canadian model. Power supply board PK101W02301

No special trick in taking off the back. Just make sure you get all the screws.

I have same Tv same power board issue apparently but by following Neilc6 post #32 I did not resolve the issue. In fact MOSFET FDPF3N50NZ looks like it’s the wrong replacement dfir K13A25D or Q301. The original is shorten and once replace with FDPF3N50NZ also that got shorten. 3 questions I have at this point: 1. Replacing wrong MOSFET is causing that shorten isssue? 2. Should I start troubleshooting from DC primary everything else? 3. Originally I had same issues as per cperiuta described. Should I better buy a new power card or quit...tv was a gift from work since recently just stopped powering on.

I've replaced shorted transistors and have them short again due to other shorted components. Check all diodes, rectifiers, and transistors.

That's the part number I found on my TV. K13A25D is NCH 13A 250V so specs are a bit different. What's the transistor marking on your board?

Original MOSFET is K13A25D. I've replaced that with PDPF3N50NZ. Both are shorten. Is that PDPF3N50NZ transistor a good replacement? I know I have to check all diodes, Mosfet and rectifiers anyways.

Maybe I read the part wrong or it was previously repaired with the wrong part but probably substituted with a higher rating I had in stock. I do have this board in my junk boards bin and Q901 reads as FQPF16N25C (16A, 250V, NCH) so looks like you should substitute with this one. Yes, the lower amp rating could blow the replacement.

Q901? You mean Q301, right? I will check all again but I wonder if this is only a power card issue or something else..since you gave that board on your junk that means you need to get a new one to fix that TV?

                                          Re: Toshiba 58L135UC Power issues

Ok found the confusion since there appears to be two different power supplies for model 58L1350U 58L1350UC according to shopjimmy

                                          Power supply PK101W0230I has a Q301
                                          Power supply PK101W0220I has a Q901 but no Q301

Replace the transistor with whats on your board. Amps and volts are max ratings so you can sub higher. TO-220F is an insulated package so replace with the same.

I currently have this model in with bad backlights that also blew the LED controller IC. Tried replacing the IC but it had terrible solderability and I ended up damaging a new strip and the replacement IC so gave up and bought a new board.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                            Assuming...

                                            Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

                                            Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...

I have this Toshiba 49U7763DB Tv which was suffering issues after various electrical power cuts, which happened in quick succession
Originally the TV was powering on and then very shortly powering off. I managed to get into the menu structure before powering off and carry out a first time installation of the TV. Which didn't make much difference. I have managed to factory reset (that didn't make any difference either).
The firmware inside the 17MB120 is corrupted and is causing some strange issues so my question is does anyone have any suitable firmware for this model?

hey guys, hoping for some pointers to repair an eBay bought "faulty" laptop.

Ill try and give as much info as I can.

                                            Bios: 1.9.0

When I received this , it would only flicker on the KB backlight for a second, then off and on.
                                            Then it started getting weirder!
Sometimes when attaching the AC power supply, and pressing various pre-boot diagnostic keyboard keys... it did try to boot, in fact out of a hundred attempts, the laptop did actually boot into the Bios ! but never has...
