I have 3 of these with the same exact issue
the 400v voltage doubler pulses and so so every power supply on the board pulses the symptom on the tv is the backlights pulse on and off with no main board connected (should be solid on) replaced backlights in the tv with new
ordered a new board but i would like to know if these boards can ber fixed or if anyone has seen it before ?
jumped over the filter caps no change

is there a difference in BG and BH versions of these boards ? the original is a plain old tnpa5335 there is no version on the board but the one I got to replace it says BGLeave a comment:

they seem ok and I replaced the SS board they are not shorted and read like a diode in circuit I see wavforms on the gate and voltage out put seems like something on the SC board but since all voltages seem right .. im not sure where to go ?Leave a comment:

I just bought this board off ebay the old one blown fets so i put this one in TV runs but picture is negative looking like a voltage on the plasma panal is way off
so i check everything i can VSUS 210 from power board
voltage across C842 148V DC voltage across C813 204V
Evrything looks noraml tv runs no errors so I start looking at SS board 135 v DC Ve I CHANGED the SS board and the power board becuase I had them there is no difference Im hoping I got a bad SC board but Im not sure how to verify that since the voltages I read you are good against VFG the tv is missing... -

Ok so here is the update. I Found a 12 v source on the tcon that apears to feed the pwm for the 17v source and the 8.8 v source. This is the source that was dropping I fed an external 12v to it and the picture popped back on but I slowly watched the current rise from. 1/2 amp to 1 amp then the tv shut down and rebooted .. So I thought about what you said and I narrowed it down it is the panel or more likely some cap on panel board. I'll be taking that apart next. .. but I determined that one ribbon of the 4 would cause the shutdown. Disconnecting....Leave a comment:

Tv loses video backlight stays on replaced TCon same thing Rd in board drops. 8.8v and the video along with it. Anybody seen this ?... -

this is a good one becuase HDMI input is a seperate RGB or R-Y B-Y and G channels there is no COLOR osc no 3.58 mhz to demodulate anything ... how could it be B and W ? since the signal entered the tv as a demodulated color signal already are you sure its no just missing one of the primary colors like red? that will make it look almost colorless...Leave a comment:
