    Magnavox turn Off problem

Magnavox 32MF330B/F7 lcd TV. Plug it in and turns on by itself and everything works with the remote except after you turn it off a few seconds it comes back on. None of the buttons work on the TV at any point. I removed the buttons and the IR sensor with wires but yet it still will turn on by itself. I disconnected the buttons from the IR sensor and just put the sensor back in again and all worked as before including it turning back on after shutting off with remote. Not sure what board to replace? the little green digital main board or the bigger main next to it??

whatever board has the HDMI and video in/out ports is most likely the main board. I tried opening the pics but after a couple minutes of them not loading I gave up. Sounds like the main board is bad.

From what I have read there are 2 mains but not sure what one would be bad.

It's going to be the small green board. That's what has the 'brains' on it. The fact that it's powering up at all tells me the power supply and backlight boards are working. These TVs have the same layout and boards as the Sylvania LC320SS8 and Emerson LC320EM1F. Funai parts. Very cheaply made.

Good deal. Thanks for the follow up. You luckily got out with the cheapest board. More typically, the power supply or inverter board fails on these. Of course, that results in different symptoms. I've seen enough act just as yours did so I was pretty confident on the digital control board.

Dell latitude e7470 not turn on .power buton on off and Run Power problem
              by masoksian
              Hi everyone,

I am dealing with the problem of turning on and off my Dell e7470 notebook.

The battery charge light is solid white, I press the button, the power indicator and the light on the button are solid for 1-2 seconds and immediately turn off.

The system does not turn on, there is no post.

I removed the RAMs and changed them, changed the battery, RTC battery, AC adapter, removed them and waited, tried again, it does not turn on.
The problem continues in the same way.
I tried to turn on the Fn key, nothing came to the screen....

HELP!! Dell E6440 laptop with problem does not turn off and turn itself on help
              by PacoGT
A few days ago my laptop gave me problems, when I wanted to turn it on to my surprise without charging so I did not put much importance on it, after that I turned it on with a charger, it turned on and charged the laptop, the problem with the laptop is that when it is turned off it turns to turn on after seconds, sometimes at 2 or sometimes at 8, other than that it works normally, I already checked many things, I changed a mosfet at the charge input to a pnp but it remained the same, after that I checked and I did not find anything outside Normally, before that, it had a failure where I changed...

AcuRite 5 in 1 temperature sensor replacement repair
              by CapLeaker
              Got a new victim:

AcuRite 5 in 1 Iris outdoor weather station not updating the temperature / humidity anymore. The original sensor is a SHT21. Also there are identical other sensor manufacturers. I chose the HTU21D to replace the original SHT21. Both have identical specs. I've had two failure modes with these sensors.
A: outside temp stuck at -40? It's cold here at times in Canada, but not that cold!
B: stuck at some temperature and maybe updating once in 12 hrs or so.

Easy solution is to go to AcuRite website and purchase the sensor. Right?...

Meaco Arete One / Deye Dehumidifier not working
              by CG2
I've got a dehumidifier that has stopped working. Plug it in, press the power switch, and it beeps 5 times. Nothing showing in the display (which is just two 7 segment displays) apart from the two decimal points flashing. The model is a MeacoDry Arete One 18L, which seems to be a rebadged Deye (all the boards are marked Deye). Here's what I've got so far (details in case anyone else in future should need them).

Starting with the power board. Mains power comes in at the red connector top left. The compressor is powered by the orange connector to the right of that and is switched by...

Pioneer VSX-D1011 - turn on problem
              by matpod16
Hi all! I have a problem with Pioneer VSX-D1011 – it don't turn on when the amplifier is disconnected from the socket for a few minutes. Standby LED doesn't light up. I'm a beginner in electronics, so I'm not very good at reading schematics. I tried to find the visual damages of components but I didn't see anything wrong. All of the fuses are ok, both of the switches the same. Have you any idea where should I start looking for? Once on every 100 tries I am able to turn it on, but what can it depend on?
