A few days ago my laptop gave me problems, when I wanted to turn it on to my surprise without charging so I did not put much importance on it, after that I turned it on with a charger, it turned on and charged the laptop, the problem with the laptop is that when it is turned off it turns to turn on after seconds, sometimes at 2 or sometimes at 8, other than that it works normally, I already checked many things, I changed a mosfet at the charge input to a pnp but it remained the same, after that I checked and I did not find anything outside Normally, before that, it had a failure where I changed the cd3330, which is the one that charges the battery and detects the charger, it works, I changed it at the beginning about 8 months ago and it did not give a problem, it has not had a liquid spill or any other problem, as I mentioned the I repaired the laptop and used it a little, it was simply left unused, I already tried changing several bioses and it gives the same problem. I can upload my copy of the bios in case you want to review it, I have already cleaned the motherboard completely and it remains the same, it seems strange to me since when connecting the The laptop's battery turns on directly, which it shouldn't do. In my experience, I wonder if anyone has had this problem or if they know if it's an ignition control chip, a resistor or something similar, I checked the voltage on the power button and it never goes on shorted to ground when you turn on again,

Re: HELP!! Dell E6440 laptop with problem does not turn off and turn itself on help
Check the battery mosfet. This is the mosfet between the battery and the main power rail. Most likely it is leaky if the logic board turns on when the battery is connected.
Remove all power. Meter in resistance mode.
Measure
Source & drain
Source & gate
Gate & drain
Post each resistance measurement. -

I update my post
checking my motherboard carefully after 2 days I found the problem today
a resistor and something like a multi resistor was too small, I couldn't see it well that it was in bad condition but when looking for it in the schematic I realized that it was in charge of the ignition and that, the good thing is that it is not a pch problem and I am grateful to I leave you with a photo of the schematic so you can see what they are, it took me a long time to find a spare part on a parts plate but I managed to find it and solve the problemComment

by masoksianHi everyone,
I am dealing with the problem of turning on and off my Dell e7470 notebook.
The battery charge light is solid white, I press the button, the power indicator and the light on the button are solid for 1-2 seconds and immediately turn off.
The system does not turn on, there is no post.
I removed the RAMs and changed them, changed the battery, RTC battery, AC adapter, removed them and waited, tried again, it does not turn on.
The problem continues in the same way.

by matpod16Hi all! I have a problem with Pioneer VSX-D1011 – it don't turn on when the amplifier is disconnected from the socket for a few minutes. Standby LED doesn't light up. I'm a beginner in electronics, so I'm not very good at reading schematics. I tried to find the visual damages of components but I didn't see anything wrong. All of the fuses are ok, both of the switches the same. Have you any idea where should I start looking for? Once on every 100 tries I am able to turn it on, but what can it depend on?

by robante15Hello, I have an Acer Aspire 4520 from a couple of decades ago and I want to repair it solely for nostalgia.
It happens that when I turn it on after having been disconnected for a long time, it turns on without problems, it tells me that the BIOS has been reset and that it will load the factory settings, if I tell it to continue, the computer turns on and everything works fine.
The moment I turn it off and want to turn it back on a second time, or restart it and try to start it again, it no longer gives an image, and it no longer responds.
