I'm sorry to bother you again. I've tried both BIOS files, but it's still the same; only the amber LED is lit. Is there any way to program that Nuvoton directly? Or could you tell me how to extract the BIOS file? Sorry for bothering you....Leave a comment:

, had a short circuit in the Nuvoton chip, model NPCX996DA0BX. I replaced it, but it still won't turn on.
The voltages are present, and when I press the power button, only the amber LED lights up. I'm wondering if I need to flash a clean BIOS to reprogram it?
I'll post my backup here.

I mean that when there's no RAM, the computer beeps and gives a RAM error code.
Similarly, when reading the BIOS chip, I always get a read error, so I don't have a backup.

Hello, this PC arrived at my workshop. The problem was that it would turn on but wouldn't display video. It requested RAM, so I removed the BIOS chip to reprogram it. I tried two different optical drives, but neither read anything.
So I thought the chip might be faulty, which is why the PC wouldn't turn on. It's an MXC. Anyway, I couldn't get any information; it always gives an error.
Now I downloaded the BIOS file from the official HP website using the serial number, but the .exe file doesn't contain a BIOS chip. Could you help me?

Thanks for the video, but as I mentioned, the MacBook does power on and displays video through the USB-C connector; there's a system there.
However, the problem is that the screen's backlight is fine; there's illumination, but there's no image. The LEDs light up, but the screen is completely black and shows no video. I think the screen is damaged. The customer mentioned that it started with one line, then more appeared until the screen was shaking, and at one point, it stopped displaying video altogether.
