Ok with some doing more looking and testing, I found something interesting if I take and jumper AC detect to RL-ON board powers up and doesn't shut down with c800 disconnected. No vs or va voltage . Any suggestions

                    Re: Vizio vp50hdtv10a problems

I'll take a stab and it could be in protection if either the ysus or Zsus boards have failed. the logic control board controls the power up sequence, also detects if there's a problem with the z or y boards I believe or it could itself be dead but IPM failure is a fairly common fault.

Don't have enough LG knowledge to say more.

Maybe describe what it is doing from when it's plugged in to when you attempt to wake it out of standby. I know on an old 2006/7 50PX5 it would attempt to switch on , led would go green then shut off straight bad to red led on a shorted sus board.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
                      by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                      Assuming...

Vizio M557-G0 1/2 panel VGHD LC1 (and maybe XON VSSQ LC2) Problems

                      Failure Symptom

No Display. Just random blocks of grouped vertical red lines.
Disconnect right 1/2 panel (rear view), left 1/2 displays properly

                      Masking T-Con Signal Diagnostic

Reduced masking to 5 signals on right 1/2 panel and get perfect picture

                      Pins are

                      1 GND
                      2 VGHD
                      3 XON
                      4 VSSQ
                      5 LC2
                      6 LC1

VGHD and LC1 masking is absolutely necessary to get working panel. Didn't unmask 3-5 individually.

                      Pictures and Schematic

                      XON, LC2, LC1 are on AUO s302-21 32pin QFN...

                      Hi.

picked up another TV. This time is a Vizio M65-C1. TV does not turn on. I had repaired another 60 inch vizio , Bad main board.
When power button is pressed, the Power led indicator on the bottom right, turns for a few seconds and then it fades away. No backlight or Vizio logo on screen. Removed back cover and repeated test.
This is the TV This TV is a little different from the Samsung I have worked on. Power supply is on the Left side, Main Bd is on the right side, T-CON , not in the picture is on the bottom. I am assuming that the boards in the middle are the LED...
