Pictures of the whole back side of the TV so we can see all the boards, then good clear pictures of the whole board for each board.

was hoping maybe i could use a part from the board that i get 5v and install on the board with no 5v

can anyone tell me if there is a component i could look at for being defective on the board with no 5v

was wondering if someone could guide me to find what part is bad on the replacement board i got that has no standby v at all and does have 170v coming from 2 large main caps...the 4 caps in middle of board are also way way low in v....

                      thanks

Is this the board you got fro shopjimmy?
                        http://www.shopjimmy.com/ocosmo-a130...1-hm06p7a.htm#
I need good clear pictures of the bottom side of the board, the pictures from shojimmy has black insulator blocking the traces to see what drives the power transformer.

Will need better pictures than this. I can't read anything on the board, so I can't tell you what voltages to check.

The board appears to be a single-supply board (i.e. standby and main supply are one and the same). First thing I would suggest you do on the replacement board is change the caps. I can't see what brand they are, but they don't look like they are one of the good brands. Next, check voltage output on those axial diodes to the left of the transformer as well as the TO-263 component (likely a diode) right above them. Report what voltages you get.
I also see several buck-type DC-DC regulators (the inductors in the lower left and upper right corners of the board) as well as more than a dozen linear regulators in SOT-223 package. Again, you need to check input and output voltages on those. Google their part numbers to see what they should be outputting (if they are fixed regulators, that is). Post your findings here.

                                  *edit*
Never mind what I said about the pictures .

i do have another board like this that i get good voltages but it has a fried hdmi so it wont power up...i was hoping i could find the bad part and swap it out
