    Bush BLED42FHDAE No standby light

    I aquired this TV today.
No stand by red led , all PSU voltages fine.
Could you help me what pin to short to force back light on ?

At this point i'm stuck, was wondering if the eeprom on the AV board is screwed. does any one have a copy of the eeprom for this TV. Any pointers on fault finding on the AV PCB, Any known faults for this model ?

    Any other sugestions welcome.

    PCB numbers as follows

    PSU BL-0p415601-001 REV.1.2
    Main A/V T.MSD306.69A.11345

Possibly a shorted voltage regulator on the mainboard, do you know how to check them ?

Hi,I have checked the voltage regulators on the mainboard and no shorted found.
I have all the voltages read ok from the psu connectors CON2 ,CON3, CON4

Normally they wont show up as shorted but just wont output the correct voltage.

If I have the right output voltages from all 3 connectors it that mean the voltage regulator is fine ? and output the correct voltages ?

"No stand by red led , all PSU voltages fine" So do you mean the signal pins also have all the correct Voltages?
What DCV do you get at the signal pins?

              Con2 I have at pin3 and 4 --23.98v
              Con3 I read at pin5,6,7 and 8 -- 23.96v
              Con 4 at pin1and2 :12v. Pin6,7,10 and 11 --5v. Pin8 stby 4.98v. Pin9 on/off 2.89v
All this voltages read when tv plug in to the main
No light coming up and no standby red lihgt you could see.

Well at least the main board is sending the ON/OFF signal, but I do not know what the root cause of the problem is on your main board. Look at the LED driver board to see if the main board is sending the BL-ON to the LED driver board.

Hello,I have plug in the tv and measured from the main board (T.MSD306.69A 11345) to the led driver and I don't have BL-ON printed on board just BK-ON and I have no current going through.
                  ADJ has 1.323V

All 24v present on the led driver coming from PSU
