Yes, it does look like the correct IC the way the pins are connected, good job locating the P/N.
Remove that burnt out IC and then check the resistance between pad 5 and pad 6 of the board where the IC was to see if it shows low resistance.

testing taking off small 4 prong chips, don't have a heat station or a heat gun any more so till I can get 1 or 2 off a board with out hurting the board I am stuck. I can get the old chip off by clipping the chip but then have no way to put the new one on. Will update when I get you the measurements you asked for. Sorry for the time I am taking its a hobby and time is hard to come by.

just an update both the t-con and the main were bad, tried the t-con and the main in another tv. Since I cant find a replacement main I am going to try and hack something together, since it uses a AU screen

the main came from a Sceptre 32 inch i think along with the t-con

If you want I can get all the part numbers that I used, basically it was like this
                  screen = samsung (au something)
power supply = samsung powering inverter board and back lights
main = Sceptre t320HVN01.2 built in power supply just unplugged the led leads , leds not used
                  on off controls from dynex
                  t-con-Sceptre T315HW07
tv was used for a pc adjusted the brightness threw the pc.
at first tried to use the leds but they were not enough backlight. So ended up using the tubes inverter
                  here is the boards
                  http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=X325BV
                  top main and t-con bottom
                  http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsear...LN37D567F9HXZA
is the hotel tv I started with
I compared the t-con boards and went from there No one knew if it would work and almost everyone said no dont do it lol but they were both free
                  screptre had bad tabs :\
main was bad in the samsung, possibly the t-con as well,

used since last post till 2 days ago when got the new parts
I have the boards out now since i got another samsung from the hotel....
same model tv with a broken screen swapped out the boards now i have a working tv that is in hotel mode.
fixed a laptop and got it along with a sanyo dp42647
The sanyo has inverter out powered on for 5 sec then backlight goes out

Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 - no power
                    by PantherDave
                    Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

Elitebooks (820, 840 etc. all gens) and those continuously flashing Power LED + flashing CapsLock LED
                    by STKR123
As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...

Working on a hp x360 15-eb1043dx that will not turn on and the power light just flashes. It pulls 700ma when flashing. Under the thermocam I found a component I am unable to id that light up. If someone can help would be appreciated. I put the number that are on it in better test....

un65tu7000fxza - Flashing Red Power Light
                    by stephonwhyte
un65tu7000fxza - I am experiencing the flashing red light on the power led. So I purchased the replacement kit for the mainboard and power supply. I still experienced the flash red power light. So I purchased a new ribbon cable, The flashing light stopped for a minute, I could hear sounds on the TV but no picture. I did the 60 second reset and it went back to flashing. What could possibly be the issue now? All the LEDs are lit up from what I can see.

                    Thanks for all responses.

un60j620dafxza - Samsung No Display Problem
                    by stylishconsultant
                    Hi All,

                    Need help.

I have a samsung un60j620dafxza led tv. When I plug it in it has no display, no sounds, and no standby lights.

So I opened the tv and disconnected the power to the mainboard and the backlight powered up. This according to many people says that this is a mainboard
problem. I checked the voltage coming from the stb and I read 1.3 volts on pins 1,3,5 and 7 which are low volts instead of 13 volts which i think the lcd panel
might be drawing too much power from the power supply that it prevents the right voltage going to the mainboard....
