    Samsung LN46B550K1F Quick Blink

I am beginning to loose my confidence in repairs since I can't get my last 2 TV's working and now here is a third. Samsung LN46B550K1F Plug it in and I get a the start up sound then a split second of backlight This happens 4 times then just nothing. I do hear the solenoid click with every flash of the backlight and I can see the video behind during the flash. I did put a meter on the inverter board and compared readings. (not sure I did that right either) then I thought bad bulb?? so I took apart down to the bulbs and had to take a video and go frame by frame in a video editor to find the flash. (pic attached) So if anybody can "hold my hand" a little it would be appreciated!

Check the inverter board for cold solder joints, bad diodes and transformers. In this case you also have to check the PSU as there is HV generated for the inverter board (See those 2 big black transformers?).

No bad solder joints and did a compare between transformers and seemed ok. How can I check the big transformers?

Did you check the diodes on the inverter board too?
For curiosity sake, put your model into SJ and see if they have a "repair kit" usually there is a list of components and location they replace. If there is something on the PSU, I'd be checking those locations.

Yes. I see a big repair kit for the PCU but that's it. Still want a tester if you can tell me where to get.

apparently that kit also fixes backlight problem. So check the parts that would go into the backlight circuit.

Anatek makes for instance a ring tester, just search in fleabay.

Replaced the power board and that fixed the problem.

                              Hello everyone,
I got a Samsung The Frame 55 inch TV for free from uncle cause it is not turning on anymore. I am in the second year of training as an electrician so I have knowledge already but I am far away from to be a pro.
The TV has Standby but ist not turning on. A Friend of mine owns a 50 inch Frame TV so I checked the One Connect Box and the One Connect Cable there. Both are good and working normally. I have opened the TV case and measured some voltages on the Board.
What I already found is that the 12.8V are not an the connector to the main board connector to the power...

Trying to Save - Samsung 65" The Frame (QN65LS03B) with no signs of life (One Connect Box)
                              by KYBOSH
I picked this one up today.
Previous owner says no signs of life.
TV looks immaculate and its a 2022 model year so I thought maybe the one connect cable was damaged.
Got it home and put it on the Kill-A-Watt power meter and it was completely dead.

The TV model is QN65LS03BAFXZA - version: CB06
                              The One Connect Box BN44-01066D / BN96-54788Q / BN39-02470A.

I immediately remembered EazyBone's Samsung The Frame TV no power....One Connect thread and am preparing myself to tear the One Connect open and hunt for dead parts.

                              Will keep you all...

                              Hi all,
I’m trying to recover a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7-14ARE05 with board DA0LS3MBAF0 Rev:F. I’ve run into an unusual issue where USB-C PD is stuck at 4.7–5V and the system won’t boot (keyboard lights flash briefly, then nothing).
🔥 The Problem Started After Suspected ESD/PD Fault
I experienced a power issue or ESD event through a USB-C charger
After that, the NX20P5090 power switch was visibly burned and was replaced
Now the PD controller always negotiates 5V @ 2A, even with known-good chargers
