        Thanks for all the help. I reviewed the findings with the owner of the tv and since the exstent of the damage is unknown he is going to purchase a new power and main board. Will post results once they are installed.

          Re: Sharp Aquos LC-60LE832U No Power or Standby Voltage

          I'm experiencing the same problem from my Sharp LC60LE835U with the same power supply. I don't have any power at the main connector. I have followed the checks listed in this thread and everything is the same except I get 0.7 volts on PIN 4 of the IC.

          The 6 pin part pulling down the voltage for the OP is still in tact on my board. Any guidance on next steps would be greatly appreciated.

            I can follow the 5v through several areas of the primary circuit but can't find any voltage on the secondary side. I've checked nearly every diode on the board. Also haven't spotted any damaged caps but haven't tested them all yet. Any ideas what I should check next? I just can't figure out where I'm losing standby power.

                I know this was a year ago, but I'm having some problems with my Sharp TV (same model number as this post). I was wanting to just replace then main board. Shopjimmy.com is out of stock and the likelihood for getting more is 'bad'. Does anyone know of other sources for parts? What about a kit to replace capacitors? I have a friend that can perform the electrical repairs, I just need to find parts or kits. Any help would be great.

                  How about you start by telling us what exactly you're tv is or isn't doing.

                    Sharp LC-60LE831U "DPS-183BP A RUNTKA798WJQZ" Same as above.
                    When the TV was given to me it was turning on and off like the power supply was overheating. I left it running for several hours with the back off and it did fine, so then I tried it with the back on and it powered off permanently.
                    I found that IC7905 (TNY264PN) blew it's top. So I ordered a new one. I installed it and still have no power. Now, thanks to this forum, I have found the 2.2 ohm fuseable resistor is open. If I have to order parts I'd like to order more than just one resistor.
                    What else should I test that might have made both parts go bad?
                    I currently have no DC voltage on connector "PD" going to the mainboard. The Rectifier is showing about 220 VDC.

                    R7601 (0.1 Ohm) is also another fusible resistor for the other circuit section.
                    I could not find "R7601" or a 0.1 ohm resistor on my board. I did test all other resistors and they were within tolerance of their labeled value.
                    I did learn that the large capacitors don't have a discharge resistor and hold lots of power for several days. Thankfully I only got a tingle from a small cap but my screwdriver left scorch marks when I discharged the big caps!

                    I'm new to this forum should I have opened a new thread or tacked on to this old one with similar problems to mine?

                    Thanks for the knowledgeable help.

                      I have the same board. No 5v stby. Looking at transformer MP-130I there's voltage reading on the primary but nothing on secondary side

                        This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.

                        Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today....

                        I have no standby indicator light and no light on the optical port. I checked the standby voltage on the two mosfets in the top left and they both read 30mV. I checked the fuse and it has continuity. I also checked the voltage on the two large 450v caps they both read 153v. All of these voltages are the same with and without the main board connected as well as with backlights connected/disconnected.

                        Nothing looks obvious like a burned ceramic disc cap or bulged electrolytic. No burned resistors, diodes, or anything like that....

                        Hello,
                        I have a problem with this TV, the standby voltage is not present. I have checked the components around the IC fsq510's area and they seem to work, also replaced this IC but the problem persists.
                        These are the voltages in some pins of IC fsq510:
                        Vcc=18v
                        D=320v
                        Vstr=154v
                        Unfortunately, I couldn't find the schematic
                        What else could I check?
                        Is it possible to provide standby voltage from an external source to allow the TV to turn on?
                        Thank you...

                        Asus GL503GE 3.3 standby voltage low
                        by brock-s
                        An Asus GL503GE laptop arrived that had had a screw dropped on the motherboard while the battery was connected. This resulted in a physical damage to the 3.3v / 5v voltage controller RT6575DGQW (pu28 on schematic, page 40). Additionally, the trace to pin 12 (VIN 19v supply) was burnt.

                        Replaced the RT6575DGQW with a new one, repaired the damaged trace. Only getting 0.7V instead of the expected 3.3v standby voltage (3V_S5 on schematic).

                        Replaced the AON7408 PQ60 mosfet from a donor board as resistance was low on the gate (I did not write this value down, as I optimistically...

                        Hello,

                        I am trying to re-purpose this power supply that I saved years ago from a tv with a cracked screen for a monitor but that is not really that relevent at the moment. I do not recall which tv but a google search looks like it is from Wharfedale LTF37K1.

                        You may notice I made some alterations moving some components to the top and some wires which are from a 5v regulator I fitted to the 12v output as the monitor requires 5v. The standby was already at fault from the beginning, it has nothing to do with the alterations...

                        Years ago it had some bulging caps...
