I've replaced all the caps and the tv will bring up the blue Olevia light and a light in the back of the tv. When I power it on the Olevia light goes off but nothing comes on. The light in the back stays on. I tried seeing if maybe I didn't do a good job soldering it and found one loose but resoldered it and still nothing happens with picture or sound. Any hints?

Re: Olevia LT37hvs
hopefully attachments are there I might have to post a few. I'm having problems. I replaced all the caps on the power supply. The lights on the 2nd one are coming on or maybe it's just the ones on the top of it. Until I replaced the big one it was working but nothing on the 2nd one was lite up. I'm still not getting anything happening but the lights. When I try to turn it on the blue Olevia goes off and then nothing else happens but the lights on the 2nd panel stay lite. I have to unplug it to get it back to where it will turn on. Any suggestions?

Re: Olevia LT37hvs
You need to see if you do have BL-ON signal and the 24VDC feeding the Inverter board.
Your pictures do not show the Inverter board, it is buried under the metal shield.
There are more than one version of this model.

Re: Olevia LT37hvs
I haven't found that other board so I don't know what's going on with it. I have posted pictures of the power supply board on another post. I thought I had taken just about everything apart. Maybe it's the one that I didn't see any caps on and I just screwed back in. Also couldn't figure out how to get everything loose to get to it.

Re: Olevia LT37hvs
The inveter board is under that metal shield with lots of small holes on it, this TV model is not easy to work on.

i am not sure if this TV has TWO inverter boards (MASTER/SLAVE) or not. That is why we ALWAYS ask people to show pictures of the WHOLE back side of the TV.
See the pictures of that BACKLIGHTS inverter boards.

Re: Olevia LT37hvs
There are two of them. One on either side of the tv. I was thinking they were something like sound boards or the like. As you can guess I know nothing about tv's and I'm winging it. It's fun learning new things and thanks for all the help. I'll have to see if I can get someone to hold up part of the tv so I can take pictures of it. Your right about it being a pain.

Re: Olevia LT37hvs
Watch out for the cable with shielded braid between the T-CON board on the LCD panel and the main board, you will easily rip that cable when you try to lift the main metal chassis, you need to disconnect form the main board, make sure to remove the screw for the shield ring terminal, pulling that connector off the board is not easy either, you must grip the body of the connector not the wire.Last edited by budm; 08-03-2015, 09:54 PM.Never stop learning

You should have 24VDC on those read power wires. Those reed wires go back to the power supply board which is under the metal shield.
There are fuses on those boards that you need to check, they have white body with gold terminal on each end.

If you look at the first picture in this thread you will see about an inch and a half down and empty push in thingy. It's between the tape and the wires. I don't have anything that is attached to it and it makes no sense to me. All the other ones have something to attach to it.
