Re: Olevia LT37hvs
Attached please find the power supply. I don't seem to be having any problem at all with it since I replaced all the caps. Haven't been able to get my soldering gun to work so I'm a little behind getting anything done. Any thoughts on the fuses and should I replace them?...

Re: Olevia LT37hvs
I talked to the friend I borrowed the tester from. His ex worked for a company that made computer boards and he said they would put an extra like CN14 with the 5 pins on it and it was either a potential upgrade and they would sometimes use them but it made the boards sort of interchangable with others. Basically a generic board. I don't see a reset button on the T-Con, Power supply or the other board. He's saying there is either a reset button or I would have to just replace the fuses for them to start working again. Any thoughts? And what number etc would I have...

Re: Olevia LT37hvs
Attached please find another picture of the board. If you look for the white plug its CN?14. I don't find anything that was plugged into it. I have to borrow a meter again to check the fuses. Will let you know about them then. Do they show up dead if no power has been on them in awhile or are they always working unless dead?...

If you look at the first picture in this thread you will see about an inch and a half down and empty push in thingy. It's between the tape and the wires. I don't have anything that is attached to it and it makes no sense to me. All the other ones have something to attach to it.Re: Olevia LT37hvs

[u... about an inch

Re: Olevia LT37hvs
Is it about 1/3 of the way on the board? About an inch down from the top.

Re: Olevia LT37hvs
There are two of them. One on either side of the tv. I was thinking they were something like sound boards or the like. As you can guess I know nothing about tv's and I'm winging it. It's fun learning new things and thanks for all the help. I'll have to see if I can get someone to hold up part of the tv so I can take pictures of it. Your right about it being a pain.

Re: Olevia LT37hvs
I haven't found that other board so I don't know what's going on with it. I have posted pictures of the power supply board on another post. I thought I had taken just about everything apart. Maybe it's the one that I didn't see any caps on and I just screwed back in. Also couldn't figure out how to get everything loose to get to it.

Re: Olevia LT37hvs
hopefully attachments are there I might have to post a few. I'm having problems. I replaced all the caps on the power supply. The lights on the 2nd one are coming on or maybe it's just the ones on the top of it. Until I replaced the big one it was working but nothing on the 2nd one was lite up. I'm still not getting anything happening but the lights. When I try to turn it on the blue Olevia goes off and then nothing else happens but the lights on the 2nd panel stay lite. I have to unplug it to get it back to where it will turn on. Any suggestions?...

I'm hoping the attachments worked this time. It's telling me the webpage isn't available.

Re: Olevia LT37hvs
if you look at one of the pictures it almost looks like a plug in is missing. I looked at the pictures I took when I started taking it apart and it's not there either. Anyway all I know is it still won't turn on. It's not letting me upload pictures at the moment. Any thoughts on that?

Re: Olevia LT37hvs
I can't get the picture to come up. When I turn on the tv it does nothing but turn off the ability to do anything. The back light stays lit thou which i believe this board is attached to. I believe there is another board closer to the screen. I fixed the power board but still get nothing. I've got so much taken apart at the moment I'm not sure what if anything would help.

Olevia LT37hvs
Attached are some pictures of another board in my Olevia Tv. I honestly don't think anything is wrong with this board. I also believe there is another board in it I can look at. Any suggestions?...

Olevia LT37hvs
I've replaced all the caps and the tv will bring up the blue Olevia light and a light in the back of the tv. When I power it on the Olevia light goes off but nothing comes on. The light in the back stays on. I tried seeing if maybe I didn't do a good job soldering it and found one loose but resoldered it and still nothing happens with picture or sound. Any hints?
