Samsung ue32f5000 sound but no picture

Hi,

I've opened it up and I can see the backlight is coming on, but there us no picture.
I've checked the caps, they are sam young, but none are bulging.
seems to be a common problem, but I can't seem to narrow it down. Has anyone
got any pointers as what's wrong with it?

Posting pictures of the back of your tv showing the boards with clear pictures may help you more with fixing your problem

As you can see the backlight is present when it's turned on.

Check voltage at T-con fuse.

Try with just one ribbon attached to T-con at a time (bottom of the T-con board, the orange ribbons.) See if just left or just right attached change the fault.

Ive checked it with either tab disconnected, it doesnt make change the fault. I cant find any information on the smd marked up rr.

did anyone nail this down? I have the same problem, voltage on Tconn fuse is 12.8 both sides. Suspect Tcon board but not sure. Backlights are on ok

This is a known T.con fault Sharp RUNTK5351TP are failing all over. I have done 3 myself ,fitted to a lot of models and screen sizes, hard to find and premium price Flocko

Hi Homer79, do you still have the backlights for this TV?

I have Picture (flahlight test) but no backlight... just thought we could do a deal and at least one of us get a working unit!

hi i do repair service for this t.con done over 400 units in 8 month replacing the qfn chip and modifying the feed resistor official samsung mod.
